Kianna tiptoed carefully toward the sleeping figure in front of her, making sure to be wary of the loose board in the center of the dark room. CREAK went the board as Kianna clumsily steeped on it. The sudden noise woke not only her older sister Lyra but her cat, Midas as well, who proceeded to bolt out of the room hissing.

Lyra glared at her sister who stood sheepishly above her. Why on earth was Kianna walking her up at 5:30 in the morning?

Kianna grinned and laughed nervously, as Lyra stood up slowly from her sleeping mat on the floor. Her hair was tousled and ratty, and her night shirt drooped precariously off her right shoulder. Kianna immediately regretted her decision to wake her sister, for she knew how grumpy Lyra could be when she didn't get enough sleep.

"Hey Lyra," Kianna said tentatively, dragging out each syllable like the slow moving water rolls off the rocks in Riverdale Creak. In response to her very friendly wake-up call, Lyra gave Kianna such a fierce look, Kianna felt herself stepping backward.

"Hi Ki-Ki!" Lyra mocked in false cheerfulness," It's so nice to see you! What brings you here so early the morning?" she said, finishing of with a grimace, her hand starting to move toward her harp, which was sitting on the mantle to her left.

Seeing her sister reach for her harp, Kianna backed up a couple of feet, her hands in from of her.

"Woah there, I don't think that'll be necessary." Kianna said.

"Really? You know, I could put you to sleep as easily has you woke me up." Lyra retorted, her hand griping harp.

"Okay, I'm sorry that I disturbed your sleep but I just really wanted to tell you something." Kianna explained.

Lyra looked at her, still annoyed. However, she did know that Kianna didn't play jokes often and was probably serious so she decided to hear her out.

"Alright, get on with it." Lyra said

Kianna took a deep breath, closed her eyes and exclaimed," We got accepted into Fairy Tail!"

Lyra shrieked and hugged her sister, while they both jumped up and down. When they stopped, Lyra asked, "So we both made in in but what about Misty!"

"She made it in too!" Kianna cried.

Lyra let out a sigh of relief, she knew how left out Misty would feel if she couldn't go to the guild with them.

"That's awesome! When do we leave?" Lyra inquired.

Kianna looked at the floor and murmured, "Tomorrow."

Lyra sat back down on her bed, with her head in her hands and cried.
