She really didn't want to see that expression on Chat's face, his eyes widened, mouth slightly opened.
"Sorry Kitty." she tried to say, but it turned out to be a mere whisper instead as she raised her arm slowly cupping her trusted partners face, while forcing a small smile to appear on her face. "I really didn't mean to run off alone like that, but we needed to catch that Akuma and you were had to renew your transformation. " she tried to explain. Her body felt weird, almost as if it wasn't hers. She had already used to her Lucky Charm to defeat the Akuma, yet the piercing numbness close to her stomach remained, while warm red fluid streamed out from under the hand which she held over it. It had already gotten on the floor next to her and continued to spread, while there was still an expression of disbelief on Chats face. "Marinette, you?" he whispered not much louder than herself. Through her numbness she was surprised, she had not even noticed her transformation wearing off. Softly he laid one of his own hands over the one that cupped his cheek to hold it in place as it as threatened to fall. Marinette felt tired, she could no longer feel most of her body, and her vision just seemed to blur with every passing second. "We need to get you help!" he exclaimed while some tears formed in his poison green eyes, he knew it, but was still caught in the state of denial , while Marinette, Ladybug softly shook her head. Her hand was by now fully held up by him, as she herself had no energy to do so herself anymore and just smiled faintly she started to have black dots in her vision. He loosened his hand slightly, her hand slipped just out of it falling to the ground. "Marinette!" he yelled tears streaming down his face. As he tried to grab her shoulder to wake her up, a small beep could be heard as his transformation wore off and he transformed back. "Adrien?" she whispered with the slighted frown before getting completely engulfed by the darkness.
Adrien Agreste was kneeling in front of the girl, defeated, crying as he begged her to wake up, but the silence of hers remained. "I love you my lady." he muttered "I love you!" he exclaimed loudly, as he broke down in front of her.
Not too much later Chat Noir walked up to hospital, Marinette's lifeless body in his arms as he carried her into the room. A nurse noticed him and called for doctors, but all effort was to late. From that day on , Ladybug had vanished from town, and only a lonely Chat Noir would strive through the town fighting Akumas. Cold. Hard. Only wanting her to come back. His only purpose revenge.
