Jedi Master Obi-wan Kenobi and Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, both Generals in the clone wars are fighting a battle on Christophsis alongside their clone army. They watched as a republic cruiser flew overhead and was about to land. Before either of the two could say or do anything, they felt a tug from the force and suddenly the pair had vanished into thin air along with their brothers in arms Captain Rex and Commander Cody.
Youngling Ahsoka Tano stood at the door of the exit ramp as the cruiser she was on was about to land on Chrysopsis. She was excited to meet her new master as well as his master but she was anxious about entering a war zone because she knew training was worlds apart from the real thing.
Jedi Grand Master Yoda sat mediating in a ship waiting until they reached the fleet that was at battle above the planet Christophsis. All of a sudden. the old Jedi felt a pull by the force which was stronger than anything he had ever felt before and a second later the spot where Master Yoda was meditating was now empty.
Jedi Master Mace Windu was stood talking to Supreme Chancellor Palpatine after they had agreed to help Jabba The Hutt rescue his kidnapped son. As the conversation continued the Jedi Master felt the force pulling him to an unknown location before he vanished and the Supreme Chancellor was left alone.
Padmé Amidala, the senate representative of the planet, Naboo sat in her apartment on the planet Coruscant as she revised papers that was sent to her by the Queen of Naboo. Suddenly she felt something tug in her gut before she disappeared leaving the apartment completely empty.
Jedi Master Plo Koon stood back to back with Jedi Master Kit Fisto after they had disposed of the battle droids that had confronted them. All of a sudden, the Kel Dor Jedi Master felt a tremendous tug from the force and where once stood two Jedi Masters stood only one.
In a blinding flash of white light, the nine beings appeared in a wide-open space with the sky and greenery as far as they could see with nothing else in sight except for numerous giant rocks that were spread throughout the valley.
"Where are we?" Youngling Tano asked as she looked around their location curiously.
"I do not know, little 'Soka," Master Plo was the one to answer the youngling's question.
Suddenly, a blue humanoid figure faded into existence not far away from where the group appeared. The group of nine took a step back as they all drew their weapons whether it was a blaster or a lightsabre as they didn't know whether or not the figure was a friend or foe.
The figure didn't seem to be fazed at the sight of the number of weapons as it approached the group calmly. As the figure approached the Jedi felt the power of the force getting stronger and stronger as it seemed to swirl all around them.
"You won't be needing your weapons whilst you are here," the blue figure said and in a flash of gold light all their weapons had disappeared.
"How?" Youngling Tano asked in shock as she watched her weapon vanish into thin air.
Before the figure spoke Grand Master, Yoda stepped in saying, "The force, mysterious it's power is."
"Correct you are, Grand Master Yoda," the figure stated with a small bow of respect startling the group as the figure used the old Jedi's name, title and bowing.
"Know my name, how do you?" Grand Master Yoda inquired.
"I know all of your names. I also know who you all are," the figure informed the group.
"Who are you and how do you know who we are?" Master Mace Windu questioned the figure calmly trying to hide how nervous he really was.
"The answer is one and the same, I am an embodiment of the force," the humanoid figure states shocking the group into silence.
"I don't sense any deception," Jedi Knight Skywalker stated in surprise after focusing on the figure in front of them for a few seconds getting nods of agreement from the Jedi masters.
"Where are we and why did you bring us here?" Senator Amidala bravely stands her ground and interrogates the embodiment of the force.
"You're a brave one Senator," the force said with what sounded like a mix of amusement and admiration.
"Are you going to answer my questions or not," the senator of Naboo challenged the glowing entity.
To everyone's surprise a chuckle rippled through the air before the embodiment of the force answered, "we are on an open plane that I created and I have brought you here to show you the future."
"The future," Youngling Tano said sceptically with a raised eyebrow as she found what the figure said hard to believe.
"I have the power to bring you all here and make your weapons disappear in an instant, yet you doubt I can show you your future," the force reprimanded the youngling in a way that made her feel like she was listening to one of her teachers lectures back at the temple.
"Say I believe you how long will it take?" Jedi Knight Skywalker interrupted the oncoming confrontation not wanting to waste time as the battle for Christophsis was still waging.
"Worried about the clones you should not be, young Skywalker," Grand Master Yoda said as if reading the younger man's thoughts.
Captain Rex and Commander Cody tensed at General Yoda's words as they too were worried about the rest of the clones that remained in the middle of the battle for Christophsis.
Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker's eyes narrowed at what the oldest master's words suggested but before he could respond to Grand Master Yoda's words the force said, "Master Yoda is correct Jedi Knight Skywalker you don't need to worry about your troops that were left on the battlefield because for however long that you are here time will be frozen. When we have finished the viewing, you will return to the time you have been removed from and only then will time move forward."
The forces words calmed Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, Captain Rex and Commander Cody down as they believed the words that were spoken and trusted that time was actually frozen so the remaining troops were safe and not in any danger.
"When do we begin?" Captain Rex questioned intrigued about what the future held.
As soon as the question had left Rex's lips a blue holodisk projection shot out of the ground and created a screen in mid-air.
Suddenly, eight large rocks with flat tops raised out of the ground in front of the holodisk projection.
"We will begin as soon as you all make yourselves comfortable," the force figure informed the group.
The embodiment of the force watched as:
Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker reluctantly stood at the side of the row of rocks taking his usual stance with his arms folded across his chest.
Senator Padmé Amidala sat on the edge of the rock besides Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker with her feet resting on the grass.
Captain Rex sat on the rock to Senator Amidala's immediate left. He sat in the centre of the rock with his legs dangling over the side.
Commander Cody sat in the same position as Captain Rex on the rock to the Captains left.
Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi knelt on the rock to Commander Cody's left with his hands interlocked and resting on his lap.
Jedi Grand Master Yoda climbed onto the rock to Master Obi-Wan Kenobi's left. The small Jedi Grand Master sat with his legs crossed and his walking stick led across his lap.
Jedi Master Mace Windu knelt on the rock to Grand Mater Yoda's left with his hands enclosed into fists and resting on his lap.
Jedi Master Plo Koon sat in the same position as Jedi Master Mace Windu on the rock to the purple lightsabre wielding Jedi Master's left.
Finally, Youngling Ahsoka Tano moved quickly and took a seat next to her oldest friend, Master Plo Koon. She sat at the very edge of the rock with her feet resting on the grass below as she waited in anticipation to see what beholds them in their future's.
After everyone was comfortable the glowing entity of the force moved so it was stood between the group and the blank holodisk projection. "Before we begin, do any of you have any questions?"
"Why are you allowing us to see are future's?" Master Obi-Wan inquired speaking for the first time since their arrival.
"Hopefully, the war will come to a quicker end," was the only response the embodiment of the force gave.
"Changing the future dangerous it is," the Jedi Grand Master said as he stared at the bright blue figure of the force.
The embodiment of the force ignored Grand Master Yoda's comment as it looked at the group of nine that were gathered in front of it. "Are there any more questions?" the embodiment of the force began.
The embodiment of the force got its answer in the form of the group staying silent.
"Then we can begin," the force embodiment said before it moved to be behind the group so it could watch their reactions as events unfolded.
The blue blank holodisk screen turned completely black and everyone waited in anticipation for the show to begin.
