Before I'll continue either Tonight or Bloody Blue Roses, here's a one-shot just to restart my account from my absence. =D

Settling Down

"LEOOOON!" Shrieked Ashley Graham as she ambushed him into a surprise hug. Leon S Kennedy turned to look at the president's daughter, smiling. Even with her around nothing could bring him down for this day.

"I'm so happy for you!" She smiled at him as she let go of him, straightening out her sun-yellow dress and fixing her white ribbon in her blonde hair. "So where's the bride? She ready yet?"

"Hopefully, Ash. I can't wait to see her." Leon also fixed his white tie nervously as he realized it was about time. "I gotta go, talk to the priest and all."

As he started walking with Ashley following close behind, he could hear footsteps getting louder, approaching him. No doubt that was the big brother.

And he was always right.

"Kennedy! She's ready. Better get moving!" Chris's face had appeared around the corner, Jill beside him. He was in a black tux, she was in a peach-coloured dress, being the one of the bridesmaids.

"Chris, I think I'll go get Carrie, she might wake up soon." Jill smiled at Leon for a moment before walking briskly down the chapel hall towards a particular door.

"I'll go help," Ashley followed suit upon realizing that she wasn't supposed to be there.

A moment of silence followed when the sound of the door closed had reached their ears.

"Think you're ready?" Chris asked, glancing at Leon.

"...I've never been more ready in my life."

"You may now kiss the bride."

Leon lifted his bride's white lace veil, his smile widening as he caught a glimpse of the full, luscious pink lips that were waiting.

"I love you." He mouthed to her, and her cerulean blue eyes started to get teary as she smiled.

"I love you too." She mouthed back, and he leaned in to meet her lips.

Everyone sitting in the church pews got up, cheering and clapping for the newly-wedded couple. Some were crying with joy, others whistled, while a few merely smiled.

Leon and Claire parted, and they turned to face the cheering crowd with entwined hands, both grinning. They had finally gotten married, and got the dream wedding they wished for- a simple, sweet celebration in a small white chapel, with all their close friends and family attending. Chris was staring at his gorgeous white-clad sister with pride and happiness (and maybe even with tears), glad that he got to see the day she got married. His wife and long-time partner Jill was holding their child in her arms as she also cheered for the newlyweds, probably being the most enthusiastic of the crowd.

Claire turned her head to see her now husband, grinning as he squeezed her hand gently. "Ready to start a new life together?"

His grin was wider than ever as he replied to his wife, his eyes full of love and adoration for her, "Been waiting for this moment all my life. And I wouldn't have anyone else to spend it with but you...'Mrs. Kennedy.'" He winked at her as she laughed joyfully, her voice angelic.

"I like the sound of that...'Mrs. Claire Kennedy.' She tested the name as the couple began to move towards the opened doors of the chapel, the crowd tossing flower petals around them. She smiled as she imagined people calling her that.

The sunlight hit their faces and Claire blinked momentarily before she felt Leon carry her bridal style to their waiting limousine, both laughing as they begin the rest of their married lives together.

Okay, it may suck, being so short, but I haven't written in a while, and maybe I will rewrite this, just to make it better. DX I might even continue, but...
