Slight AU. A couple of years into the future, Tsuna is heading to his graduation ceremony, before he realizes that there is something very, very wrong.

Sawada Tsunoayoshi, tenth generation leader of Vongola, with his shaggy chocolate brown hair that shine in the sky slid down next to his neck like a snake, and honey brown that softly leak their way into your thoughts and feelings.
Xanxus relaxed slightly as the male smiled at him, as he stretched his arms over his head, lazily looking at his boss in his school uniform.
"Good morning, Xanxus," he said kindly, with a soft smile on his face.
Living in the mafia really changed the kid, he's a lot more mature now, and he wasn't as fearless, and not once, ever since his second year of middle school, had he slipped up badly.
"Brat," the male nodded at his boss as he turned around, "Let's go."
"Yeah, yeah," the male smiled as he ran to step in count with his subordinate, the one that no longer called him a 'scum'.
It was graduation, and as soon as this ended, the Vongola family had to move back to Vongola headquarters to begin their jobs there once again.
And then, as easily as it should have been, it ended.
And Tsuna never got to say it.
"What the hell are these things?" Xanxus cursed as he shot the brains straight out of one of them.
"I don't think I want to know," Tsuna called back, already in hyper dying will mode as he blasted through a head, "I'm sorry," he whispered.
"Don't apologize to those things," Xanxus growled out, "It's a waste of breath, fucking softie."
Tsuna winced as a body reduced itself to ash.
"Now watch your mouth, we're still at a school," the male scolded as he dodged one of them.
"Not for them," he stared, almost disgusted, as they fell over like some limp rock.
A shudder fell from Tsuna, who gulped, before sighing, "I just need to get everyone and get out."
If anything hadn't changed, it was the fact that the male was usually late.
But today was supposed to be different.
