Dojo Departure:

"I can't believe Jack's Grandfather, the man who taught Jack everything he knows, is coming to Seaford and wants to see us as well!" Eddie said helping Milton put up a banner that said 'Welcome Sensei Brewer'.

"I know it's awesome, he could help us get better at Karate, obviouxly Rudy isn't doing a good job... I mean look at you two." But Jerry didn't notice that Rudy left his office and heard all of that, Milton and Eddie did signals to warn him but he kept going on. "I mean, Eddie's on his orange belt and Milton and me are on yellow... so obviously this is the teacher's fault which makes it Rudy's fault, you know what he needs to work harder so that we can work harder 'cause the teacher impacts on the student." Jerry said as he turned around to face his sensei. "Heeyy, Rudyyy. How are things?"

"Jerry, you're right. I need to push you so you can get a higher belt. Jack!" Rudy said as Jack and Kim walked through the doors of the dojo.

"Yeah, what?"

"Jerry said that I need to work harder so that they cab work harder and I think he needs to be pushed to his limits so he can reach his full potential. Could you help Jerry by sparring with him... and don't be afraid to do your worst, k?"

"Sure Rudy."

After a few minutes when they were both ready they were on the matt ready to sparr.

"Jack, are you ready?" Rudy asked.

"Oh yeah."

"Jerry, are you ready?" Rudy said in a mocking voice.

"Uhhhhhh... ummmm..."

"I'll take that as a yes."Rudy said mocking "Go!"

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" Jerry screamed as he ran past Jack, out the doors, through the mall and probably further.

"Jack, I think you probably won." Milton said. "And what do you think of this banner we made for you Granfather's visit?"

"It's awesome guys, thanks. I can't believe I get to see Grandpa again, it's been so long since I last saw him."

"When was the last time you saw him?" Kim asked

"Uh, I think it's been six years."

"Seriously? The longest time I've gone without seeing my Grandparents was a month or two." Kim said

"The longest for me is an hour." Jerry said.

"Well because it's been so long it just means I can't wait fro him to get here!" Jack said

Then suddenly Jack's parents came through the dojo's doors.

"Mum? Dad? Shouldn't you be picking Grandpa from the airport?" Jack asked

"Honey, you should come home now. We need to tell you something." Said Mrs Brewer.

"Why can't you tell me here?" Jack asked.

"Because it's private and we don't think you can handle it, so you should be at home when we tell you." Mr Brewer said.

"Okay. See you guys later." Jack said as he and his parents left.

The next day at school

"Hey, guys have you seen Jack?" Kim asked the others.

"I haven't seen him all day." Milton replied.

"Same here." Eddie responded.

"Yeah, he wasn't in my class with all the numbers in."

"You mean math." Kim said.

"Yeah that's the one."

"I think we should go round his house later to check on him."

"Sure." They all agreed
