A/N - just a short poem (not freeverse) I wrote for the Weasley's Wizard Wheezes Competition - Headless Hats. Enjoy, and please review!
It's a great thing, to be a Weasley,
You'd think that it would be so easy –
Not for Lucy Weasley.
All named after a famous dead hero,
Never have problems with your ego –
Not for Lucy Weasley.
Press following you everywhere,
Questioning you as though they care –
Not for Lucy Weasley.
Always placed in Gryffindor,
Always eager to explore –
Not for Lucy Weasley.
Never placed in Hufflepuff,
Their courage levels aren't enough –
Not for Lucy Weasley.
You don't have brown hair, always red,
You have a burning desire to meet Uncle Fred –
Not for Lucy Weasley.
People are always in awe of you,
And what they say shows that they adore you –
Not for Lucy Weasley.
As a Weasley child you never stand still,
In shops, you're given free Sugar Quills –
Not for Lucy Weasley.
No Weasley is ever overlooked,
For you all, Molly copied out her old cookbook –
Not for Lucy Weasley.
It's a great thing, to be a Weasley,
You'd think that it would be so easy –
Not for Lucy Weasley.
Because Lucy Weasley will always be,
Just another Weasley.
