You And I?

Jimmy finally clarified his mind. But Thomas is not certain Jimmy knows what he wants; and he doesn't want to be hurt again. What will Jimmy say to him, to convince him about his feelings?

Well... I´ve never written poetry before (if you don´t count some ridiculous attempts for school) and this is my very first poem in English. Just to show you I´m not a poet. But I hope you enjoy it anyway.

I want to dedicate this to Sup phyl, because it was her who made me write poetry.

I.

I don´t pretend I´m not scared,

I don´t say what I should say,

I don´t want you to feel my pain,

I don´t wanna your restraint.

Because every time I see you,

My heart beats faster.

I don´t want to be far away,

Despite, I still lose my way,

Because I am full of fear

of something I don´t wanna hear.

Because every time I see you,

I´m breathing harder.

I can´t give you what you want,

You don´t understand it,

What I have told

and don´t want to repeat,

is, that I am frightened.

Because every time I see you,

I start to shiver.

You´re always so strong, so brave,

How can I ever behave

like you?

I´m not special, don´t you see,

why am I so icy?

Because every time I see you,

I am melting.

I don´t deserve you,

And you know that,

That´s why I reject you,

Because you said

You love me.

Because every time I see you,

I want to cry.

You might not understand,

And nor do I,

But if you listened,

You will know.

Because every time I see you,

I want to laugh.

I know you love me,

And I know it´s not fair,

When I want more,

Than you can bear.

Because every time I see you,

I have to blush.

You see, it´s simple,

I need you as,

for example,

a bee needs a flower.

Because every time I see you,

I forget everything.

I don´t just love you,

It is much more,

I would kill you

And get back to the shore,

So you will see.

Because every time I see you,

I feel I am alive.

I can´t be without you,

It nearly kills me,

But when you´re near me,

I need you

To be my anchor.

Because every time I see you,

I believe I can fly.

And even though

You might not understand,

You have to know,

I´m not able to stand

Life without you.

Because every time I see you,

I want to live.

It´s hard to say,

Because I´ve never done it,

But there is a way,

A crime to commit,

To show you my love.

Because every time I see you,

I am complete.

II.

So come and kiss me,

My precious,

Get to know me,

How gorgeous,

Light my fire,

And let me burn.

There is no reason,

There is no why,

There is no question,

Don´t be shy.

Come and get

What you want,

And I won´t let

You fall.

I know you want it

It´s easier than breathing,

So just admit,

You know the meaning

Of my words.

You can´t say I didn´t warn you,

I am not a good boy,

And I can´t save you,

From my embrace,

It´s gone too far.

You are too beautiful,

And I am too weak,

So don´t be thoughtful,

And do what you like.

You can be patient and you can rage,

We´ll write a new chapter,

So turn the page.

I won´t wait.

What you used to dream,

Is now coming true,

I need you with me

I would feel blue,

If you rejected.

You can say whatever you want,

You don´t have to stay strong,

The only thing I want is you,

To be with me, to pursue

Our goal.

I know you think it´s just a game,

I know you don´t believe it´s real,

But honestly – what a shame,

That I have to spin the wheel.

What are you afraid of?

There is no damage to be done,

You and I, we´re meant to be one

So come to me, we will play

A game of do and say.

And I start.

Don´ t try to resist,

You don´t have to care about me.

I am prepared.

You can´t run away now,

After what I´ve said.

You have to deal with me,

And take what I want to give you.

Because I´m not a child anymore,

I am a man and I know what I want.
