Kagome looked at him for a while, and then she sigh, "Nothing, just thinking about something strange. Hey, by the way, where's Miroku and Sango? I thought you guys went together to get the youkai (demon)." "Oh- they're still over there, talking to the villagers about not being the youkai. but I bet Miroku is up to it again, you get me?" Inu Yasha eyed Kagome. "Yeah- taking the rewards from the villagers, right?" And both of them sighed deeply, together with the laughter of Shippou, for Shippou had stayed together with Kagome. The three of them did not have to wait for long, however, because Miroku and Sango soon showed up with, no surprise, horses full of expensive things. "Well? Shall we continue on?" Miroku asked as he stretched. The wind was very strong. "Yeah, we better move a long," Sango replied, "I don't think there's anything else we can do around here. We better hurry up if we want to find Shikon no Tama or Naraku." So the six of them (including Kirara) started for their next journey. Just then, the unpromising wind started to bring rain. Without mercy, the rain started to get heavier and heavier, forcing the team to go and find a shelter. Long after the rain has started, they finally found a place, which is a very old temple. The team stopped there and took a break. Kagome was very exhausted, she immediately tried to find a worthy place in the temple to sleep. The girls slept in one room and the boys slept in another room. However, Kagome cannot sleep. Her thoughts wander around to the things she had said in the afternoon. Suddenly, something told Kagome to go outside, she isn't sure what it is, but she know that she must go outside. Quietly, without waking Sango and Shippou, Kagome opened the squeaking door and closed it again. And what Kagome saw could have made her shout. Inu Yasha was together with Kikyou! They were talking together, so close together. Kagome's heart gave a leap. she's angry, but she does not know why. Suddenly, both Inu Yasha and Kikyou noticed her presence, and the three of them stared at each other. Kikyou then silently hugged Inu Yasha from the back. Both Inu Yasha and Kagome gasped. And the next thing that happened was so unbelievable. Inu Yasha soon was surrounding by a circle of blazing fire. He was trapped inside, together with Kikyou. Kagome cannot do anything, but angry tears had started to form from her beautiful eyes. The fire soon died away but what was left was only Inu Yasha, Kikyou was gone. Kagome run to reach Inu Yasha, but then, in front of her, Inu Yasha vanished, as if seeking for Kikyou. Kagome can't move anymore, and she fell to the ground and cried. Inu Yasha is gone. together with Kikyou. "Kagome?" Who is that? Why is that voice so familiar? "Hey. Kagome." Eh? Isn't that. "Hey, Kagome! Wake up!" Kagome's eyes slowly opened. It is! It is the voice of Inu Yasha! It is all a dream! "What happened to you? You're sweating all over the place!" Inu Yasha shouted, but his tone is caring. Without anymore words, Kagome quickly hugged Inu Yasha and let go again. She was very glad that everything was just a dream. or is it? Is everything just. a dream?
