This is a story that I thought would be good. So here it goes. I enjoy feedback, but no flames please. Her name is pronounced Ally-on-uh.
"Hello Aliana."
I looked around. Sure enough, Avatar Roku was standing right behind me. I smiled and bowed.
"Avatar Roku, is it time?"
I didn't say anything, just nodded. "Prepare yourself."
I took the cue. I sat down on the ground, crossed my legs, and took the meditating position. My tattoos began to glow and I felt something pulling me. I opened my eyes.
I was in a forest. Well, I was suspended above a lake that was in the forest, still meditating. What I didn't expect was three people staring at me. I started and lost my control for a second and fell in the water. Now my clothes and hair were soaked. Not the way I wanted to meet anyone.
I groaned to myself and sped myself toward the shore with air.
I coughed and sputtered water and looked at them. "Hi, how's it goin'?"
Then I passed out.
One Hour Later
"I think she's waking up."
"It's 'cause you won't stop talking Twinkletoes. You woke here up."
"Stop arguing you too."
I cracked an eye open. I groaned and they all stopped talking to watch what I would do. I propped myself up on one arm and was immediately met with some guy that got right in my face.
"Who are you? What were you doing? Answer me!" Whoa, can you say paranoid? I still had no idea who they were so I wasn't going to tell them anything.
One thing about me is that I've always spoken my mind. "You're paranoid," I rasped. My voice hadn't been used outside the Spirit World for about a hundred years.
"Tell me who you are?!" I've never known anyone to hyperventilate from paranoia but I guess there's a first for everything.
"Shut up Sokka. You're freaking her out." I looked around. I think it was the girl who had been the voice of reason when those people woke me up.
I looked at her quizzically, so she just kept talking. "I'm Katara. This is Aang, Toph, and, well, you've already met my brother, Sokka."
Aang, I thought. Could those really be their real names? Okay, I'm a little paranoid too. Hey, they were wearing Fire Nation clothes but those definitely weren't Fire Nation names.
I looked at the boy who hadn't spoken yet. He did look a little like an Air Nomad but I couldn't be sure. Then I noticed the headband he was wearing.
"Take off that headband." I guess it was an order, but I'm not sure it sounded like that. I also have a tendency to be blunt too.
His eyes widened, but he did what I asked, probably because he saw my tattoos.
He had the Airbender arrow tattoos. He was the guy I was looking for. Thank you, Roku.
"My name is Aliana," I croaked. I got that far, and I had absolutely no idea how to explain the rest. So, I just pushed the hair back from my face and brandished my arrow.
Their eyes widened. Right from that moment, I was in deeper crap than I ever thought I would be in.
