#35 Gray
Places in Between
~8~8~8~8~8~8~
Yowane Haku is gray. She is gray like thick rain clouds and falling twilight, like pencil graphite and tears on a piece of paper. She isn't white or black, evil or good, pure or defiled, up or down, left or right, but rather she slides in between all the extremes, finding solace in the very eye of the tornado.
Haku is gray but gray does not define her. It is her boundary but not her border, her lair but not her limit. Gray is her place, her companion, her enemy, her friend. The one thing she can call her own.
