Which Star Will Take Me Home?

A/N: This is my first fanfic so to be sure that people (that means you) are reading this, I want you to review. I have a lot more ideas for fics that are probably better than this one, so let me know if you like this one. Constructive criticism is accepted but flames are not. Anyway, enough of me and on with the story!
*******
I am the great Prince Vegita of the most feared warrior race in the universe, the Saiyans.
Yet I feel as if I were in exile.
I have been living with the human woman named Bulma and her family for almost one Earth-year now in the Capsule Corp building in which they reside. Though Capsule Corp is a large enough building, the largest in the city, it does tend to seem a bit crowded with all the remnants of the Namekkien race living here as well, and Bulma's yelling ringing through the corridors at all hours of the day.
Sometimes, at night, I seek relief on the roof of the dome. It always is quiet up there, and far less crowded, which makes for easy thinking.
Tonight I needed to think.
I have noticed during these nights that Earth's sky is littered with stars. Having traveled where I traveled, I find it hard to take the romantic side that many humans tend to take about stars, but I do find it oddly comforting to look back at the planets I have visited and conquered and the burning spheres of gas that I recognize.
Among these glittering dots, I've learned, are the satellites and ships that the humans have sent to space to enhance the ability of their feeble technology. I have learned to recognize that these tend to be the only spots that move.
Yet, even in all my new knowledge of this planet, I cannot help but let my mind stray back to when I was a child on Vegita-sei, flying off to the ports just to watch the ships take off. Once far enough from the planet, they, too, looked like little moving stars.
On these nights when I remember, I can't help but wonder, "Which little sparkle is a Saiyan ship coming to take me home?"
Yes, Frieza destroyed the planet Vegita-sei, along with most of my race, but some Saiyan colonies were established on other planets. Surely, someone would remember their prince? Surely, someone will be reported to about my whereabouts? Surely, someone will come to retrieve me?
But my thoughts are in vain, because every moving star is not one of my own. They belong to the humans.
Someday I may have to face that my race is dead. But for now I think:
