So I have no idea why I wrote this other than the fact that I really need to get things out of my head… so I guess you can enjoy it. I guess it can almost be a Hannah/Morris thing if you feel like looking at it that way. It takes place during the strike obviously, and I don't own anything.

Morris stood awkwardly to the side as he waited for Oscar. He tapped his foot impatiently, Oscar was talking to Mr. Pulitzer about the strike, and Morris was almost rammed down by a young woman as she hurried passed.

"Oh, sorry Mr. Delancey." She said as she stopped. She had been hurrying around all day, with the strike and everything. She told Mr. Pulitzer it was a bad idea, but just being his secretary he didn't listen to her.

"No, it's Morris, Mr. Delancey was my father."

"Sorry Mr. Morris."

"No no, just call me Morris."

"Oh, sorry Morris. I thought you worked at the distribution center, what are you doing here?"

"No one's buying any damn papes 'cause they're either too scared or they're in the strike."

"Oh, seems like we're both here for the same reason. I swear my migraines have gotten ten times worse since this whole ordeal started. I was planning on going out to dinner with a friend, but now all I want to do is lie down and rest."

"Seems to all go back to the same thing… um I think it's green tea that'll help you with your head. My mother… you know, it worked well for her."

"Thank you… you can mix warm water with vinegar and it'll get rid of bruises quickly. Or, it sounds weird but putting melted chocolate helps then wrapping it up… my brother got into fights a lot." She said, just knowing from the way the boy's eyebrows went up he had never heard that remedy.

"I've never heard of that one, thank you."

"Hey Morris, we gotta go!" Oscar yelled, and the boys ran on their way.

Later that night Hannah took a pot of green tea off of the stove and put it in a mug. She rested on an old chair and took a sip, feeling herself relax before she went to sleep. And the next morning Morris looked at his leg at the fading bruise and smelled the vinegar.

"It worked…" they both said at the same time.
