Chapter 1
Assiah's POV
I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock buzzing like a fly that never shuts up! I groaned and threw it across the room, time for work..I got out of bed and put on some black leggings, a purple tanktop and my green and white hoodie. I pinned up my silver and pink hair in a hair clip and grabbed my phone, I slipped on some converse and I shuffled out of my apartment, locking it.
When I got to my new job, I went through the side entrance like I was informed. When I got inside I was greeted by a man with shoulder-length purple hair he smiled. "I assume your the new girl?" I grinned brightly and nodded, "Yep! Thats me! The names Assiah!" I said cheerfully. Two other guys came out, the manager who I talked to about the job, and some...rather cute guy with blondish hair and glasses. The manager smiled and greeted me and the other one said his name was Ken, he didn't look like he was happy to see me. He looked kind of..emotionless. Maybe he didn't like me? No! That can't be it! I continued grinning as a girl walked in.
"Oh hi new girl!" She smiled warmly. She was wearing a black tank top, grey skinny jeans, and a cool looking hat on, with so high-tops on. I smiled back, "Hello!~ My name is Assiah its a pleasure to meet you!" She fixed her hat, "Well im Ren, its nice to meet you." I nodded and we went and changed. Then we worked.
Okay, so not the best day..but due to my clumsyness I almost fell and Ken caught me! Oh mah gawsh! He's sooo cute! Also he's really smart! I sighed and walked out of the place. I started skipping happily home, it was really late so some bad guys were out and I mean I wouldn't call myself beautiful but, I know i'm atleast cute. I started walking through an alley, its quicker than using a street. I feel arms grab me and pin me to a wall, I tried to scream but he put his hand to my mouth. "Shhh, don't scream..wouldnt want something to happen would you?"
I felt something at my side, I looked over to see another guy with a knife pressed to it. I whimpered, he smirked. "Hey, what do you think your doing?" I heard a voice say from the opening of the alley. I couldnt turn my head, the guy who was pinning me let go and the other one held me back so I did't run. "Why do you care?" The guy asked, I looked at the opening and saw Ken! He's gonna save me..right?
Ken narrowed his eyes and walked casually toward the guy and punched him, knocking him out. The he walked to the guy holding me and stared at him. I guess the guy got scared and he ran off. I was crying now and I hugged Ken, he flinched at my hug but ended up patting my head gently.
After I stopped crying he walked me home and told me he'd see me tomorrow at work. I smiled at thanked him and went upstairs and went to sleep after that.
