Oh my god! Hey guys, so I'm not dead! I know I've been gone and I know I have other stories I need to work on, but It's literally 4:37 in the morning and I haven't slept. I finished Trails of Apollo last week, and I was messing around on the internet and I got really inspired to write again. So here this goes and I'm going to shut up and get on with it. I hope you guys enjoy even after I've been gone for like a year! It's probably going to be my same old corny, cliché, sweet fluff soooo… Here it goes!

Nico's POV

I was curled up on my bed, dreaming peacefully, when I felt the light hit my closed eyelids. I tried to act like I was still sleeping. I was having a really nice dream and I wanted to get back to it.

"Nico, get up. I know you're awake."

"No," I said, pulling the blanket up over my head.

"Don't make me IM Hazel."

"Uuuugggghhh," I groaned, sitting up and rubbing my eyes before opening them. "Close the door."

Once I was done being blinded with the sunlight, I saw that the person who wanted to lose their life for waking me up was one of my best friends, Jason Grace.

"What do you want? This better be good. I was having a nice dream that I wouldn't have minded staying in," I complained, still tired.

"Ooohh, what was the dream about?" Jason pried.

"None of your business," I told him.

"Was it about a certain person?" he smirked.

"No comment," I gave him a partial smile. It soon turned back to a glare. "So what do you want?"

"It's almost 2pm and certain people have been asking me about you. Plus you need to get up and get something to eat and do some physical activity, Lazy Bones," Jason smiled.

"Fine," I gave up, pulling my covers off.

Jason walked over a ruffled my hair.

"Good. See you in 10?"

"Sure."

As soon as he left, I got up and pulled off my pjs. I pulled on a pair of black jeans and a light grey shirt. I slipped my shoes on and walked out of my cabin.

I saw Jason waiting for me outside of the dining pavilion. I started walking over to him. As I got closer, I saw Will approach him. I looked down at my feet, glancing up every few seconds, just to make sure I didn't run into anyone.

I guess Jason must've seen me and pointed it out to Will because he waved to me with a wide grin. I gave a tiny smile and waved back shortly. I soon arrived where the 2 tall blondes were standing.

"Hey, Nico, about time," Jason greeted.

"Good morning, Sleeping Beauty," Will chuckled.

"Hey," I said softly, looking down while rubbing the back of my neck.

We walked into the building and began to get food. I grabbed a small serving of eggs and 2 pieces of bacon. I grabbed fruit punch and followed Jason and Will to sit down. I took my seat to the right of Jason and across from Will. We ate quietly for a few moments.

"So, Will, do you know if that big bonfire is tonight, with Camp Jupiter and stuff?" Jason asked.

"I think so, they should be arriving in a little bit. And there's apparently a mixed camp dance tomorrow night to celebrate seeing each other again after nearly a year," Will answered.

I smiled, excited at the fact I'd get to see my sister, Hazel, and my (basically) sister, Reyna. Jason nudged me, obviously knowing my excitement.

Just then, Piper ran over to them. She kissed Jason on the cheek, ruffled Nico's hair, and waved at Will. She sat down across from Jason and next to Will.

"What's up?" she asked, beaming at the 3 boys.

"Talking about the big get together tonight," Will told her.

"I'm so excited to see everyone!" she exclaimed.

I finished my food and got up to leave. I was planning on going back to my cabin and reading for a bit, but a few steps out of the dining pavilion, a felt an arm wrap around my shoulders.

"Hey," I heard the voice say that belong to none other than, you guessed it, Will.

"Hi," I said, glancing up at him.

His arm stayed in place as we continued walking.

"So what were you going to do until everyone start showing up?"

"I was going to go read in my cabin. You?"

"Wanna go practice archery?"

I was about to say "No", but I looked up to see him grinning down at me, with a wide smile, showing his straight, white teeth.

"Fine," I heavily sighed, rolling my eyes, but giving him my own little grin.

We strolled over to the shooting range. Will finally removed his arm from my shoulder when we reached the rack of bows, picking one for himself. I grabbed one and got a quiver of arrows. I picked a target and got set to shoot.

"Oh, hold on!" Will called, hurrying over to me.

"What?"

"You need to fix your position. Here," Will got behind me, his arms almost going around me as he adjusted my stance. "There you go, now shoot."

I pulled back to the bow string and released my arrow. It just it the target on the outermost ring. I could hear Will laugh quietly from beside me.

"Shut up," I told him, hiding my embarrassment.

"No, it's not like that. You just needed more practice than I thought. You're just really skilled with your sword and stuff, I thought you were good at most combat stuff," he explained.

"I guess this isn't "most" combat stuff then," I snorted.

"Come on, try again. You'll get it."

I sighed, listening to him. I knocked another arrow, taking a deep breath, and releasing it. This one wasn't much better than the first. We called it quits after about 6 quivers of arrows each and approximately 2 ½ hours. We hung up our bows and walked out.

"Do you want to go grab a snack or something?" Will questioned.

"Sure," I shrugged.

We walked to the dining pavilion, where I got a water bottle and a mini bag of pretzels. Will got the same thing. We walked out and walked across the camp grounds while we snacked.

"Hey, Nico?" Will said, sounding a tad bit nervous.

"Yes?"

"Can I asked you something?"

"Why not," I replied.

"Would you want t-" Will was cut off when I felt someone jump on me from behind, causing me to stumble and fall forward. I tried to grab Will to steady myself, but that only succeeded in bringing Will down with me.

We had to look like a mess. Will was on his stomach, my head and shoulders laying on his upper back, and the attacker- who I now saw was Hazel- laying on me from my shoulders to my feet. Frank helped her up and Reyna offered me her hand, which I took.

"Hey, Nico!" Hazel squeezed me as soon as we were both steady on our feet.

I tightly wrapped my arms around her.

"Hi, Hazel. I missed you too, but next time can you not attack me from behind," I laughed, pulling back from her hug to turn and give one to Reyna.

I glanced and saw Will standing there slightly awkwardly.

"And you all remember Will," I said.

Hazel gave him a slightly less aggressive bear hug than she'd given me.

"Hi, Reyna smiled, shaking his hand. "I'm Reyna."

"Hi, Reyna. Will," he introduced, taking her hand.

"Hey," Frank waved.

"Hey," Will waved back.

"Oh yeah, Will," I said, turning to him. "What were you saying a few minutes ago?"

"Oh, uh, nothing. I'll catch up with you later?"

"Yeah, okay," I nodded.

He walked away.

"So what's going on there?" Reyna asked as soon as Will was out of earshot.

"What do you mean?" I asked her, confused.

"I mean he's cute," she smiled.

"Okay, Jason," I giggled, fondly rolling my eyes.

"Hey!" she laughed. "I'm not as bad as Jason."

"That's debatable," I told her.

"And speak of the Devil," she smirked, gesturing behind me, where Jason and Piper were all but barreling toward us.

Piper threw her arms around Hazel first. Then Frank and then Reyna. Jason took his turn next, hugging Hazel and Reyna and giving Frank a fist bump.

"What are you guys up to?" Piper asked excitedly.

"Trying to convince Nico that he should totally try to get with Will," Hazel told them.

"Oh my god," I rolled my eyes.

"Good luck," Jason scoffed. "I've been trying all year."

"And I'll tell you all as I told Jason," I chimed in. "I don't for sure know if Will is into guys, let alone if he's into me."

"Oh please," Reyna snickered. "Watching you 2 together as we were coming over, you can tell. He's into you and you're into him."

"Sure," I said sarcastically.

"Whatever," Reyna sighed.

"Let's start walking around camp," Hazel suggested. "I'm dying to see everyone."

"Speaking of, are Percy and Annabeth coming?" Jason questioned.

"Yeah, they'll be here in a bit, they had some school work to finish up before they could come," Reyna informed him.

We all started walking around the camp, being stopped by a few campers here and there to say hi and greet Reyna, Frank, and Hazel.

Soon it was time for dinner. I got some food, I didn't really notice what I was getting. I was scanning the room for Will. I wanted to know what he was saying to me earlier before Hazel showed up. I walked back to my table, which consisted of Piper, Jason next to her, a spot for me, Reyna on my other side, Hazel across from me, Frank next to her across from Reyna, and Percy and Annabeth on Hazel's other side, across from Jason and Piper. I was setting my plate down when I saw Will.

"I'll be back," I told Reyna, who was the only one not in the middle of a conversation at that very moment.

I walked over to Will.

"Hey," I waved.

"Oh hey," he smiled.

"So what were you trying to tell me earlier?" I questioned, the curiosity killing me.

"I'll tell you at the bonfire after dinner. Okay?" Will said.

"Okay," I nodded. "See ya."

I turned around and returned to my table, taking my seat between Reyna and Jason.

"What was that about?" Hazel asked, who had been eyeing me since I walked over to Will, I had to guess.

"He was trying to tell me something earlier before you attacked me from behind and I was asking him what it was," I explained.

"What was it?" Reyna asked.

"He's telling me tonight at the bonfire."

"Oooohhh," Jason sing-songed.

"Shut up, Grace," I rolled my eyes.

"Fine."

Soon dinner was over and everyone started toward where the bonfire was to be held. I scanned around the crowd. I couldn't see Will anywhere. Jason walked up to me.

"See him?" he asked.

"No," I answered.

Just then I felt a tap on the shoulder. I spun around to see Will standing there.

"Hey, Will," Jason greeted, smiling widely.

"Hey, Jason," Will said. "Hey, Nico?"

"Yeah?"

"Can I talk to you?" he asked. "Privately?"

"Sure."

I followed Will away from the big crowd. We were a good couple hundred yards away from everyone before we stopped.

"So what is it?" I questioned.

"So there's that dance tomorrow," he stated.

I nodded.

"And I was wondering if you maybe wanted to go with me?"

"As friends or…?"

"As a date?"

I tried to suppress the blush that was sure to be spreading like wildfire across my cheeks as a smile slipped across my lips.

"Yeah," I answered,

"What?" he asked in disbelief.

"Yeah. Okay, I'll go with you as your date," I repeated.

Will's grin spread across his entire face.

"Okay! Sweet!" he exclaimed.

We stood there smiling at each other for a moment before we started heading back to the bonfire, wide, stupid smiles plastered to both of our faces.

Okay! So that happened. I do intend to make a second chapter to this when I get the time between work and everything. I hope you guys like this! And sorry if it sucked, this is the first thing I've written in over a year.
