Finally' he thought 'I will finally meet her '
He smiled the little girl went closer to the man. She smiled a bright smile emphasizing her gray same gray eyes as the man.
"hellow stwanger" she said with giggles
"hello. You shouldn't talk to strangers like me."the man said with a slight hint odd sadness in his voice. The child just smiled and asked why.
"I can be a bad guy. You just didn't know. Some bad guys can hurt you. Your parents will worry."
he sat down on the grass and the little girl followed suit and sighed sadly.
"my mom won't worry... Her voice trailed down "she doesn't even love me" tears were now forming in her a few drop to her skirt. "what about your father?" asked the man.
"I have no father." she said while tears were now falling freely from her eyes."my mother said that he was a coward for leaving us. She even said that was a even told me that she might leave me to. Like my dad did." by this time she was crying her eyes out.
"hey. shhhh" she hugged the girl tightly calming her down. When she was quietly sobbing already, the man spoke up. "don't say those things about your father. He loves you very very much, he only left because of his job. And you are not a mistake" He explained calmly.
"how do you know?" she said in between sobs.
"Because, I'm your father, my precious child" he said with a smile on his face.
"you're my father?" she said with a hint of hope in her voice.
" one and only dad." with that response, she immediately launched herself and hugged the man.
"I love you daddy." she said which made the man's heart ache.

When the man noticed the time, he panicked. He needs to go back pronto. He gently shook his daughter who was sleeping in his arms. 'the first ever father-daughter moment' he thought.
" up dear" the little one just wiggled in her father's arms. 'stubborn. Just like me' he grinned at what he thought. "thalia. Wake up. I need to go." as he gently shook her awake.
"hmmmm..." She mumbled."where are you going?" she asked sleepily.
"back home."
" is your home" she still said sleepily. I frowned.
"I'm sorry, but this is not my home yet. I promise you. I will visit again. Which reminds me, I shall give this you" as the man pulled out a rectangular shaped box. The girls eyes went wide in curiosity, making her wide awake in curiosity.
"is that mine?" she asked after a giggle
"yes. This is yours" he opened the box and it showed a white cloud pendant with a lightning bolt on a silver chain. "this is my gift for you."
He slowly unclasped the necklace and put it around the girl's neck. She smiled at her new gift from her father. She furrowed her brow then smiled.
"Zeus" she said softly. The man smile and nodded his head.
"yes. I am Zeus. Ruler of Olympus and your one and only father" he held her daughter close and whispered "how did you pick it up right away?"
"you have a thing for thunder and you came, the sky cleared up. Necktie and your handkerchief has lightning bolts and you've a chain that says ruler of Olympus." she said while giggling while her father beamed at her daughter.
"very good thalia. Now,I'm very sorry to be leaving you now,, but I need to go. I'm sorry." he said while hugging his daughter tightly.
"just promise me, you'll visit. Ok?"she asked. Turning sleepy again.
"yes. I thalia. Remember, I love you" he said placing a soft kiss on her forehead.
"I love you to daddy..." She said, slowly drifting to sleep.
The man placed her daughter down in a soft comfortable area. Once he is ready to leave he sighed thinking this would be the last time he will see his precious daughter.
