"C'mon! Hurry!"
There was panic in Mother's voice as she cast a frantic glance at her watch. The expression on her face told me we didn't have much time.
"Blaine, Calder, go," Mother said, "Finley and I are right behind you."
Without hesitation Blaine and Calder ran at the barrier between platforms nine and ten. In the blink of an eye they were gone. Disappeared onto platform nine and three quarters. Mother and I quickly followed them. And there it was. The Hogwarts Express. Some students, who'd already boarded it, leaned out of windows saying a final farewell to their families.
Mother helped me get my trunk onto the train. She gave me a finale hug before I got on. The whistle blew as I leaned out a window and waved goodbye to Mother. As the train began to move I saw a ginger haired girl running to keep up with it. She was waving and smiling but she was also crying. The train gathered too much speed for her. She fell back still waving and smiling and crying.
