The crisp white snow crunched under Deidara's feet as he walked along the path on his mission. Next to him was Sasori who was feeling awkward without his Hiruko. The mission was a cheap one in the Land of Snow they had done just because that's how the Leader was with his plan for World Domination. Hiruko was not exactly ideal for travel though snow, and Sasori disliked flying more than not having his armor, anyway. It really was more dangerous, wasn't it?"
"Isn't the snow so pretty, Danna? So artistic, un. The winter covers everything in a bright beautiful layer, and then melts away,un. Replaced by the spring that brings new life, which will also eventually fade away." Deidara sighed, his breath turning into a puff of warmth fading into the chilled air. Sasori snorted. "If this place is artistic, it is because it is always winter here, but never spring. The snow always stays and never melts away, for all to see it's crystalline beauty."
Deidara twitched and frowned but then a sly smile curled up upon his lips. He reached down and picked up a handful of snow and packed it tightly into a ball. Sasori noticed but not early enough to prevent the wad of snow from smacking him in the face and sliding into the neck of his cloak. "Oh, you're gonna get it, brat." Sasori chuckled. Deidara ran for cover behind a tree and tried to slow his breathing so that it wouldn't reveal his position. After waiting a few moments, he peeked around from behind the tree he saw Sasori looking straight at him, inches from his face.
"AAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!" Deidara backed away and tripped over a root of the tree and landed in a huge pile of snow. The soft snow gave under his weight and he sunk into it, covering half of him with the cold white powder. Grinning widely, Sasori shook the tree, lightly but hard enough to cause more snow to fall upon the blond who started this childish mess and cover him completely. It would be a shame not to finish the job when it was so easy and amusing.
"Shit, un! That wasn't nice, Danna!" Deidara coughed. Sasori snickered "That never stopped me before," and commenced cleaning the snow out of his cloak. Some had melted from the heat of his heart and was making him uncomfortably cold. Deidara shivered and wined, "Damn, I'm cold, un." Sasori raised an eyebrow. "You could have though of that before...or not."
With that, Deidara snapped and threw what should have normally been called a snowball if not for it's enormous size. Sasori, not wanting to fall over backwards, leaded forward around the time of the impact, which was about as obvious as the blond was. The red-head's downfall that that was what actually caused him fall forward.
Deidara wasn't paying any attention to Sasori and was actualy planning his escape when Sasori hit him, literally. He was startled at first, but then noticed the heat of Sasori's heart pumping through his cloak. It was soothing and distracting, so he no longer felt so cold, which he liked... among other things. The blond blushed and chuckled. "What was that, Danna?" he said, thinking of sitting up, but not really wanting to. Then the red-head replied, "Well, you said you were cold. I don't want you to get sick." as he placed his mouth upon his partners and made him feel even warmer.
