Setting: 15 years later

"Ne, Tezuka…" Fuji said.
"What is it, Fuji?"
"I'm sorry." Fuji said, as he held Tezuka's soft hand.
"Fuji, it's… too late." Tezuka said, breathing raggedly.
Flashback:
"Inui-sensei, how is Tezuka?" Tezuka Ayana inquired.
"Gomen, Tezuka-san." Inui said, shaking his head. "We tried everything... but his liver cancer was already in stage 3..."
"It's my fault... I shouldn't had let you go..." Fuji said, teary-eyed.
End of flashback
"Tezuka…"
"Hm…?"
"If you die, I have no one to blame but myself..." Fuji said, with tears in his eyes.
Tezuka looked at the brunette. "Fuji… please don't..."
Never thought things would change...
Flashback:
"Tezuka..." Oishi said as he pulled the half empty whiskey bottle out of Tezuka's hands. "Stop. This wouldn't do you any good! Fuji wouldn't appear in front of you by drinking all of this!"
"I shouldn't have let him go, Oishi... I thought everything would be like it was if I let him go but I was wrong... It pains me so much, Oishi... It really does..." Tezuka said.
"Tezuka, you are a strong man..."
"I once was... but now... I'm as weak as a leaf..." Tezuka said as he drank a shot of whiskey.
Hold me tight…

That you have to go…
Tezuka's eyelids were now slowly closing.
"Kunimitsu…"
"..."
Fuji held his lover in his arms, for this will be the last time that he ever held Tezuka near.
"Fu…" Tezuka tried to say something but his strength was slowly ebbing away from him.
"Tezuka… If you're tired… I will let you rest now... "
Tezuka looked at his lover's cerulean eyes. "I'm sorry…" He mouthed.
"But take my love wth you in heaven..." Fuji said, with tears falling from his eyes.
Tezuka then finally closed his eyes, falling into his eternal slumber.
"I'm the so called "tensai"… but I hadn't thought of a way to save him from death… I just watched his life come to an end…" Fuji said.
All my thoughts are with you forever…
Until the day We'll be back together…
Oishi put his hand on Fuji's shoulder. "Fuji… It's time to officially let him go... I know he will be happy in the arms of kami-sama and if he's happy, you should also be happy..."
"Tezuka…"
