Hey, its me. Here is the first ever Draco/Mirror of Erised fic! Written for Andi-Professional Daydreamer's Skeletons in the Closet challenge.

He stood in front of the large mirror. In it, he saw himself. But not just himself. He saw himself, dancing with her. Her, wonderful, perfect, beautiful Padma Patil. And he heard some strange music, just in his head. It sounded suspiciously like Barry Manilow's Copacabana. What could this mean?

He heard footsteps behind him.

"Ah, Draco. How are you?"

He turned sharply.

"Professor Dumbledore?"

"Yes?"

"What is this? This mirror. I look into it, and see something, strange."

"This, Draco, is the Mirror of Erised. It shows you what your heart wants most."

Draco looked in the mirror again. He was slightly shocked. This was what his heart wanted most? To dance with Padma Patil to the song Copacabana? Weird.

Three years passed, and Draco never forgot the vision he had seen in the Mirror of Erised. And, since this was his fourth year and the Triwizard Tournament was being reinstated, there was the Yule Ball. He was pretty sure that wasn't what his heart wanted, but maybe he was wrong. So he worked up his courage, and asked her.

"Padma Patil, will you go to the Yule Ball with me?"

To his surprise/relief, she said yes.

He spent only a few minutes getting ready. He was too eager. And he hummed a song. Copacabana. As he stood in front of the mirror in his room, he was struck with the realization of this terrible secret. He actually liked the song Copacabana.

After the Yule Ball had gone on for a while, there was some fiasco between Chosen Boy Potter, Mudblood Granger, and Blood traitor Weasley. He didn't care. He just wanted to keep dancing with Padma forever. And then, the song Copacabana started playing. Everyone looked wide-eyed and sat down. But he pulled Padma onto the dance floor. Everyone was STARING at them.

"What?" he said loudly.

Everyone shrunk back a bit. The Durmstrangs looked genuinely horrified. Finally, an incredibly brave Ravenclaw girl stood up and spoke,

"Because this song is stupid!"

"So what?" he challenged.

The hall itself seemed to shrink back.

"So?" he repeated, "So what if I like to dance when no once on the floor? So what if I want to go to the Yule Ball with a Gryffindor? SO WHAT IF WE LIKE THE SONG COPACABANA? WE LIKE IT! AND THAT'S WHAT MATTERS, PEOPLE! WHAT NOW, HARRY POTTER! I LOVE THE SONG COPACABANA! AND I'M NOT AFRAID TO SAY IT TO THE WORLD!"

So...what did you think? I have writer's block right now...so it ain't great. But tell me what I could do to improve it. REVIEW! PLEASE!
