I know its short, but this is the first in a series of one shots which describe Sana on SG-1 and how they react and all. I'm going to make them all fairly short, only describing the important moments, because I know from long experience I can't keep up with long stories that have many chapters. So these will all be one shots. I hope you like them. Some are meant to be funny, but... I'm not good at writing funny stories so yeah.

Disclaimer: I don't own Stargate or any concepts. I wish I did, because it would be great to have all the money!

Sir, There's a Kid on my Team!

There was silence in the briefing room as Jack's eyes met General Hammond's. All were staring at one or both of them. Finally Jack decided not to complain here and now, but after the briefing… well; he wouldn't be able to hold back. He looked away, determinedly staring at the wood in front of him, away from the teenager also sitting at the table. She was 17 but looked to be 15, had spunky blonde hair that looked messy but was clearly brushed, and piercing blue eyes. She was trying to seek his out, a smile on her impish face with its small features.

None of the other members of SG-1 had a problem with her presence. Sam had smiled warmly at her, clearly recognising her, and hugged her when she arrived. Daniel had shaken her hand, exchanged polite conversation then started interrogating her about any ruins on her world and what culture she thought they were from and whether he would ever get to see them. She had laughed and shushed him, promising to talk about it later. Teal'c had inclined his head to the newcomer, and she had returned the gesture, respectfully.

It was only Jack who didn't like her. It wasn't her age, though she was far too young. It wasn't her hair, or her liking of jewellery. It wasn't her obvious love of teenage things, or her passion. He usually liked passionate people, and she certainly qualified. Her bright smile was returned by everyone else in the room but him, she was likeable, she was intelligent, she was bright and it was clear she was daring and fun, with a wicked sense of humour. If he had to choose a word to describe her, he thought privately, it would be bubbly.

But he still didn't like her. General Hammond dismissed everyone, and they all left- except him. He stayed, and so did General Hammond. Hammond sighed. "Well, Jack?" he asked, knowing full well what he was going to say.

"Sir, I can't have a Tok'ra on my team!"
