A/N hello sorry I had a major writer's block this week. but here is my new fanfiction as always it's DRiver. I don't own doctor as much as I would love that and check out my other fanfics if you want. this is just a little one-shot about my OTP
Caught in the act.
The stars twinkled above in the night sky oh how they shine brighter than ever before. No one will experience this feeling again. How he longed to stay longer but he knew he couldn't he had to go. Off to see different places in different times. The Doctor was sneaking away from the reception, away from the party and away from Amy and Rory and back to the good old TARDIS. He had enough excitement for one day never being born then coming back plus loads of dancing really tires a person out. But there was one person at the party that he didn't see, the amazing, mad, beautiful yet insufferable River Song.
But before he set off he did see River and oh how he wanted to kiss her so much but alas he didn't have the courage. After that he was back into the TARDIS then before he set off Amy and Rory came in. Looking for the next greatest adventure
After the TARDIS set off he realised he forget to do something. He landed the TARDIS back in Leadworth a few seconds before they left. He walked outside the TARDIS doors the familiar site of Leadworth. Little did he know that there was a shadow of a figure looming behind the TARDIS?
As soon as he grabbed his sonic screwdriver, which he left on the table after it fell out of his pocket when he was dancing, he walked back outside this time he saw the figure and scanned it. When the results came up he laughed and shook his head.
"Forget something Dr Song?" He asked the shadow laughed and came into the light, revealing Dr River Song.
"I did actually, no that you mention it." She told him. She smiled at him. The flirting game was on. Now it was the Doctor's move.
"Oh, and what was it?" He retaliated. Her move.
She smiled and stared at his irresistible lips. "I forgot to give you a congratulation, for saving the universe." She was coming towards him slowly and swaying her hip more than necessary. She was now nose to nose with him.
She moved her head forward so her lips were now on his. The Doctor was taken by surprise at first but after a few seconds he kissed her back, settling his hands on her waist and her arms around his neck. As the kiss was getting deeper, he pushed her to the side of the TARDIS, she moaned as the blue box collided with her back.
They didn't hear the doors to the box open or someone walking out of it. Amy and Rory was now searching for him. The looked all around but couldn't be found when they turned they saw something that they thought they would never see in a million years.
The Doctor was kissing a woman, but not just any woman, it was river and he was kissing her full on the lips and judging by his hands he was enjoying it. Then, they saw his tongue slip into her month and saw her smile against his lips.
They didn't look like they were coming up for air anytime soon so they decided to leave them to finish their business. No matter how much Amy wanted to gloat about how she was right about them. She and Rory went back into the TARDIS.
When the door closed they finally broke apart, sadly, knowing they were caught in the act.
"I love you, River" he was never used to saying it and wasn't used to being in love but she changed all that the moment she sent that message to him in the library.
