A/N: Hello … again! I wanted, no, needed to write again, so I decided to write this story. It kind of came to me from a friend and from reading other stories. I did make it up and I am sorry if it seems otherwise. Um … I don't know when I will update again, I am still currently trying to come up with some ideas for this story and I don't even know if this story is good or not. So I would really appreciate it if you guys would R&R&F! I hope it is okay and I am sorry for any errors. Oh, and before you start reading….SPOILERS! There are some stuff that some of you may not know, but if you wish to read, then be my guest. I don't know what episodes they are from, but I talk about the massacre and stuff related to it! Just to warn all of you! Okay, now you all can enjoy!
Disclaimer: Itachi: You are doing another story about dimension travel? Many people have done so already.
Me: Hey now! I know that many people have done so, but I like writing about normal people visiting Naruto characters or the other way around!
Itachi: Why am I always one of your main characters?
Me: Um … you are my favorite character … Umm, anywho, please do the disclaimer!
Itachi: They should already know that you don't own Naruto.
Me: Thanks! ^-^
"Good friends don't let you do stupid things … alone." – That's funny.
"Nooo! Damn you Sasuke! Why did you have to want to kill Itachi? I know you don't! Stupid writer…" I started to rant because the episode where Sasuke kills Itachi was about to come up after about three more episodes and I was already starting to dread it. Itachi, after all, was my favorite character.
"Honey, are you okay?" My asked outside of my room. 'Guess she heard me ranting…'
"Yeah, sorry, my favorite character is about to die." I said nonchalantly. My mom then walked in my room.
"I'm sorry dear. Which one is he from this time? Naruto, Devil May Cry, Code Geass, or Black Butler?" Yup, there was my mom for you. She knew my interest in anime and she fully supported me and my friend in it. She even let my friend and I go to cons in Chicago! She was awesome.
"Naruto Shippuden. It's Itachi. His little brother is going to avenge him for killing his whole family, but Itachi only did so because it was a mission and he didn't want a war between the Uchiha clan and Konoha to take place. He actually is a very good older brother." I said to my mom. She thought for a moment.
"Why didn't he just try to make a treaty with the Hokage? I mean wouldn't he have understood?" My mom said as she sat down on my bed.
"No, unfortunately, the Hokage signed the mission scroll to have Itachi kill his family. Actually, he was supposed to kill Sasuke, but he didn't because he loved him too much." I said grabbing the chips that I had been munching on.
"Seems like a very complicated situation. But doesn't Sasuke understand that it was a mission and Itachi couldn't do anything about it?" My mom asked seriously.
"No. Itachi didn't tell anyone that it was a mission. He wants Sasuke to kill him so Sasuke will feel better and stuff." I said eating a chip.
"Oh. Well I am sorry. When is Rach coming over?" My mom asked getting up. I thought for a moment and looked at my clock. Oh … she was supposed to get here any minute now. Then I heard the door downstairs open and Rach yell.
"I'm home!" My mom and I smiled. I ran out of my room, leaving my mom in the dust and ran downstairs.
"Hey, what took you so long?" I asked as I tackled her. We landed on the floor and I got up quickly grabbing her hand as I stood up to help her up. My floor was pretty clean, but who knows what was down there! It was scary when you lied down and looked at the floor just for the hell of it. Let me tell you!
"Well, my mom and I had to go to Joan's to pick up fabric for the next cosplay I am going to do. I am thinking about a Ren cosplay, but I need a Lin first." I nodded like I knew what she was talking about. Actually I did, but vaguely. I didn't watch too much Vocaloid stuff, but she had already told me what she was planning on doing.
"Sweet! Okay, so here is the plan," I started as I led Rach into the kitchen, "Naruto is coming on, as you already know, and it's the one episode. So, I have Kleenex ready for the works. I also have nutella and I also have gummy bears and gummy worms so we can munch. Now what do you want to drink?" I said all at once. I opened my fridge and got water for me and let her get water as well. I didn't drink too much pop, so we didn't really have too many options for Rach to pick out.
As we headed up stairs to watch a really sad episode of Naruto, we ran into my mom.
"Your dad is gone on a work trip and won't be back for a while and I will be going on a trip too. I will find out when I am gone tomorrow morning, but I am also leaving in the morning. I will wake you up to say goodbye. And thank you Rach for staying over with her. She would be deadly bored. My mom said as we walked passed her.
"It's no problem mom!" Rach said as we stopped so I could finish talking.
"It's fine, but do you have an approximate time you will wake me? So I know when to go to bed?"
"I will be getting ready for work at about five in the morning, so I will wake you at about six." Wow, that was early! It was summer and I normally stayed up until three and slept in until like eleven!
"Okay, sounds good! I'll see you then!" I said as Rach and I headed toward me room on the second floor. My house was kind of big, but not too big. On the first floor was a living room, the kitchen, and a mini room where my mom and dad worked, and then there were stairs which led to the basement where I did my dancing with Rach, since there were mirrors on the walls! On the second floor was my room, a spare room, my parent's room and a bathroom. My room had a bathroom, so I was all good! And finally there was the attic. I never went up there because of all the scary stories about attics, what can I say, I was a freaked out by scary movies!
My dad was a manager of a very big corporation and had to travel a lot for various lengths of time. This was the time that he was going to be gone for about a month. I don't know how my mom handled it, but maybe because she traveled a lot too. She was also in a big corporation, but she handled the financials and documents. Both of my parents were great at what they did, but at times it was hard to be alone for long lengths of time, but I had Rach and my anime to keep me company. I also wrote a lot. At first it was short stories, but then my ideas grew and grew until I decided to write a really long story. They were all pretty different, but the main character was always me, me in different situations that I wished I was in. I either went to the Naruto universe, they came here, I would go to a different anime, or a different anime would come here. It would always end up with me and Itachi together, but what can I say other than I was a fan girl. Sue me! I got pulled out of my thoughts by Rach's hand waving in front of my eyes.
"Hello! You in there Jess? Are you thinking about Itachi again?" She asked smirking.
"No! What made you think that?" I asked.
"You grabbed your Itachi plushy." I looked in my hands and blushed. I had grabbed my Itachi plushy that I had gotten at a con Rach and I had gone to. I set it on my bed and I grabbed my remote and checked to see when the episode when Itachi was going to die was on. We had an hour to kill, so we set up a little Japanese style bed. We put down a big blanket followed by my sleeping bag, a bigger blanket, a medium sized blanket, and then a smaller blanket that we would use as an actual blanket. Then we put down four pillows; two for each of us so we could lie back against them and still see the TV. That only took about five minutes…
"Okay, so how is your story coming along?" I asked Rach. She had also gotten into writing. We both liked writing about anime, mostly Naruto because we knew it the best, but we also wrote about other things. Rach was a big fan of The Lord of the Rings, so was I, just not as much as her.
"Good. I have about fifteen pages written, but then I ran out of ideas to use." I thought for a moment.
"Wait, which story is this? You have, like, three in progress right now." And that was a big difference between us. One of like, two differences. She liked to write several stories at once and not update her stories for a long time because she would lose an idea or not get an idea. I, on the other hand, would do one story at a time, maybe two at the most. Of course I had writer's block too, but most of the time I would finish a story. I only discontinued a story once, and that was because I couldn't think of an idea for, like, three months.
"It's the one where Lulu and the Akatsuki are traveling and stuff." Ah, so it was that story.
"Didn't you leave off on a cliffy last time?" I asked as I glared. She smiled.
"Yeah, but it was payback for earlier when you had one too! But I think I have an idea, but I need to type it out to see if it'll work or not." I nodded in agreement. That was usually how I was too. If I got an idea, I would start typing and see if it went anywhere or not. If it did, great, if not, then I would erase it and think of another idea.
"What are we going to do for a month while my parents are away? I don't know when my mom will get back, but still. We will have a long time!" I said sipping my water. She thought for a moment before she smiled her scary smile when she gets a crazy idea.
"We can learn more dances!" Yup, she was crazy! But, then again, so was I. I smiled back.
"Sweet! But which ones? There are so many to choose from. Maybe Panda Hero?" I asked. She thought for a moment and then I knew she had thought of something.
"Matryoshka! It'll be hard, but we can do it!" Matryoshka was a hard dance! The rhythm was fast and upbeat. The movements were very fast and the song had freestyle in it. This would be fun!
"I like it! But first we have to watch this really sad episode and then we have to sleep and wait for my mom to wake us up really early!" I said getting in position for the episode to come on. We had talked for an hour, so the episode was about to come on. We got in position as the episode was about to come on. The beginning song came on and Rach and I started to sing along to it. Yeah, we were nerds and knew the lyrics to the beginnings songs, but the songs were good and very addicting! As Rach and I started to sing the chorus, my TV turned black.
"Anata mo miete iru no mamay-" We both stopped midway word because the song had stopped, letting us hear how badly we sang. We both laughed at first, then we realized my TV turned off. I tried to turn it back on with my remote, but that didn't work and I had to get up.
"What the hell!" I asked my TV. Pakkun wasn't supposed to stop working when the most important episode in Naruto Shippuden was about to come on!
"Jess, Pakkun is not supposed to stop working!" She said trying to help me turn it back on, but everything we did didn't work!
"Why! Pakkun, what did I ever do to deserve this?" I asked throwing my hands in the air … like I didn't care … just kidding. I was pissed. I mean, yes, I wouldn't see Itachi die, but I would have to watch it later and I was in the mood to watch it now! If I watched it now, then I would be less emotional because I was prepared for it. But if I watched it later, I would be an emotional wreck!
"This isn't working Rach. I don't know what else to do!" I screamed defeated. I sat back down in front Pakkun and Rach sat next to me.
"I don't know either. Maybe your mom accidently did something downstairs." I thought for a moment and then shook my head.
"No, she is working in her office. She doesn't have anything in her office that would do this. I would know, I went looking for Tae in there the other day, and she and my dad only have laptops, printers, and a few other stuff for work in there. It is quite boring in there to say the least." Rach looked at me skeptically.
"Why would your phone be in there if you haven't been in there for about two months?" She asked.
"Hey, Tae likes to take fields trips without me. He doesn't like to be in my room when I am not there and forget him. He gets lonely and tries to find me." She laughed. 'Did I say something?' I thought as I laughed too.
"Uh-huh, I am sure." We laughed for about five minutes until we heard Pakkun make a noise. We both looked at it.
"Maybe he decided to work again…" I said. But Rach and I both knew that Pakkun had never made that noise … ever!
"I think it's going to explode." She said backing away. I thought she had the right idea and I hid behind my bed, peaking over to see what was about to happen; Rach got on her knees next to me and watched to see what was about to happen too. My room was medium sized. When you walked in, across the room against the wall, was a bookshelf that went up six feet, to the left of that was a window that led out to a balcony with two chairs that Rach and I tanned in. Well she tanned, I burned, the sun hated me. In front of my window was my bed that had the pillow side against the wall. Against the wall to the right of my bed, if you were looking at it standing, was Pakkun facing my bed so I could lie down and watch TV. To the left of Pakkun was my bathroom. It had a shower, a sink, and a toilet. It was simple, but I liked having my own bathroom. To the left of my bed, looking at it standing up, was a closet with my stuff in it. In front of my bookshelf was my desk that I did all of my homework on and where my laptop was. In my desk was where I kept all of my ideas in a journal I kept with sketches of the characters that I had thought of. I wasn't the best artist, but I was okay at drawing. I got out of my thoughts as I saw Pakkun start to make more noises and when I saw swirls start to form.
"Rach … do you hear and see that too?" I asked hesitantly. I was freaking out! Pakkun never did this. I was scared that Naruto would pop out and say boo or something. I had read multiple Fanfictions where Naruto characters came out of nowhere or normal-ish people went to the Naruto dimension. So I was ready for anything! Kind of. It was real life, so I didn't actually think that Naruto characters would pop out of Pakkun, but Pakkun was scaring me.
"Yeah, I hear and see it too." We didn't know what to do, but wait and see what was about to happen. Pakkun continued to make noises for about two more minutes before it stopped. Rach and I waited another two minutes to make sure everything was okay, then we slowly walked over to Pakkun. I looked at the wires and everything, but I didn't see what had caused the weird noises and the random swirls that had disappeared.
"That was … strange." I nodded to what Rach had said. Rach and I looked closer at Pakkun to see if we could see anything else, but we saw nothing. Then the noise started, loudly this time.
"Ahh!" Rach and I screamed together as we fell on our backs. There was a cloud of smoke and then I felt someone on me. I couldn't see who it was because of the smoke, but whomever it was, they smelled good.
"Rach, get off of me!" I told Rach.
"Me get off you? You get off of me!" Huh? So we both had someone on us? Then I heard a grunt from the person who was on me. It was a manly grunt. I screamed and pushed whomever it was off of me and I scooted against my bed. I heard Rach do the same thing and we sat there huddled together as the smoke cleared.
