Me: *grins at him and then calls cyclops who throw him into a screaming crowd of fan girls and laughs evilly*
Leo: Noooooo you promised you wouldn't do this to again.

Percy was sitting and talking with Thalia by the lake. She was taking a break from the Hunters Of Artemis. " Anyway Kelp Head I should go practice my archery "she laughed nervously. Looking years afterward back I cursed myself for not realizing she was nervous. " Want me to come with " I asked. She rolled her eyes " we all know what happens when you try archery. " I winced remembering last time. Since I was so awful at archery Chiron let me take extra sword fighting instead. " Oh and Silena needs to talk to you "she then pushed me towards Silena Beauregard. Silena was considered the prettiest girl at camp but I didn't think that I thought it was Annabeth. She had shiny black hair going down her back in straight waves and blue sapphire coloured eyes. She may look pretty but when she needs to fight if you saw her during the Battle of the Labyrinth you'd see what I mean . Anyways back to the current situation. " Percy "she said smiled. " I wanted to teach a fun little game." She said it with a smile on her face that said listen to me I know best." " Uhh sure I guess " was his answer. " Awesome here's how you play you write zap on the top side of your hand and write something random on the palm." How about we write oh I don't know structural columns." " Who talks about structural columns" I asked her. " Oh but that's the point if anyone says this you have to say I love you to them doesn't it sound like fun." She had already wrote it on me so I didn't have any choice but too play. " Oh and Annabeth wants to talk to you." She grinned at me and for a second it looked like the type of grins the Stolls gave before they put shaving cream in your bed. Then it changed to her normal flawless smile. " Have fun." With that she pushed him toward Annabeth. She looked good as always. She had her blonde curls in up in a ponytail her grey eyes were stormy and looked like she was thinking a million thoughts. But I knew she was probably thinking a bazillion thoughts knowing her. " Hey Annabeth whatcha reading". She turned towards me and she and I thought she was about to punch me for interrupting her reading. " About structural columns and other architecty stuff as you would say seaweed brain ". Uh oh my face felt hot. I was feeling really hot and sweaty and like I was about to vomit. " You alright kelp head you look like you did at the winter solstice meeting ". "I love you". There I just blurted it out. I waited for Athena to come and vaporize me. I glanced at Annabeth and saw*annoyance, surprise, and a dozen other emotions but one of those made me stop in my tracks. Happiness. She was happy with me saying I love you. Maybe just maybe she did like me. " Percy" she started. But I interrupted her. " It was just a game" I said weakly. I nervously held up my hand. " See". Now her face showed disappointment before becoming a mask.
Just then I noticed a flash coming from the corner. Annabeth opened her mouth to speak but I gestured for her to be quiet. I walked over to where I saw the flash and she followed me. I saw Terra talking to her half brothers the Stolls. " One day they'll thank us for this and we'll show this to their future children". The Stolls laughed then Conner spoke in a high pitched voice. " Sweethearts this is how your mommy and daddy first said I love you. I glanced at Annabeth she looked mad. Before she could attack them I pulled her aside and spoke to her. " Don't attack them yet we need a prank plan" she grinned getting my idea. A few weeks later the Stolls and Terra were in the infirmary sick with poison ivy and their little movie was destroyed. What we didn't know was that there was more than one copy.

Sydney's POV
I watched the video. Who knew my parents used to be so awkward around each other. My aunt Terra and uncles Travis and Conner were watching me gleefully. I guess they wanted to see my reaction. At that Terra's son Harry started to cry so she ran to go soothe him. "So wad ya think" asked Travis. My brother Niko short for Nikolas was having a laughing fit. Figures he was hyper on sugar plus the ADHD it didn't mix well. At that mom and dad came home. " Hey sweetheart we're ho- what are you watching". I have to say my moms reaction was pretty funny. " Oh nothing" I leaned back. " So structural columns you really fell for that dad ". I glanced at him. His face was red and his black hair so much like mine was in his eyes again. I almost was a complete carbon copy of my mom right down to the princess curls. Except I got my dad's black hair colour. And of course his sea powers and his need to get in trouble. While Niko look like a mix with sea green eyes and blonde curls that were super messy. He was also really smart but used that to get into trouble and sometimes he was just plain crazy. " Which reminds me Sydney Silena Jackson you are grounded for all that trouble you caused your poor teacher ". I scoffed " poor teacher we are talking about right"? She rolled her eyes. " Your grounded ok no questions asked". Dad sent me a apologetic look but I didn't mind being grounded. Maybe Terra, Travis and Conner had more videos to show me or even better some embarrassing stories. I grinned at the thought. Then walked to my room and shut the door. I hear a sigh from the other side of the door. I knew my mom thought I was mad at her but I wasn't. Not this time at least. Since I acted so much like my dad we fought a lot. But we always made up in the end. I thought about my mother know. She was prideful, caring, sweet, yet she could be downright scary if she wanted. Then I thought about the video. Maybe there is more to mom than I thought. And with that thought I leaned against my bedroom door and slowly sank down smiling. I'd say sorry to her tomorrow but for now I was alright.
