There's a new form of life currently inhabiting 221B Baker Street. John found it near the sidewalk while making his journey back from Tesco's. The small ball of fur was now neatly tucked away in the old , worn coat pocket , protecting it from the harsh London wind.

The small kitten seemed to have found some comfort in Sherlock's robe for some odd reason. The mass of fur was currently snuggled up in the soft , blue fabric placed in the corner of the couch.

"John , I see no reason that this thing needs to be in our flat. It is useless , and thus has no point in being here ," Sherlock said while glaring at the small , innocent kitten from his chair. Normally , he would be observing or doing multiple variations of experiments on the feline , but John had quickly shot down any hope of doing that.

"I also want my robe back ," Sherlock sulked , sinking down lower into his chair.

"We should think of a name for it ," John said absentmindedly , sitting down in the chair opposite of Sherlock's.

"This monstrosity doesn't need a name , John."

"You really can be childish sometimes , you know that , Sherlock ?" John stated while getting up to place the kitten on the ground. The kitten chased its tail for a few seconds , then proceeded to run directly into the foot of the couch.

"My god , we should name it Anderson !" Sherlock exclaimed , smirking. "John , your not helping with choosing names. I've already suggested three names , and you haven't suggested any."

"Sherlock , you've suggested one name , and a horrible one at that ," John chuckled.

"Not true , I've suggested thing , monstrosity , and Anderson. All of which are valid names for this useless animal ," Sherlock retorted.

"I'm horrible at giving things names. I would end up giving it a terrifying generic name , which is why I suggested that we should name it ," John stated calmly.

"I couldn't care less what you name the damned thing , John ," huffed Sherlock.

John stared at the kitten that had now returned back to its place on the couch. "Wiggins ," John said. Sherlock turned his gaze to the doctor. "Wiggins ," John repeated.

Sherlock tilted his head in thought. After what felt like eternity Sherlock replied , "John , you've got to be -"

"Yes or no , Sherlock ," John said with a small hint of annoyance in his tone.

Sherlock , surprisingly not wanting to argue , slightly nodded his head in agreement.

"Alright ,then it's settled. Tea?" John asked , getting up and walking over to the stove. Sherlock just nodded , still glaring at the small kitten sleeping soundly on his robe.
