Title: Counting Stars

Summary: Deeks insist counting stars is possible. He proves it to Kensi!
Author Note: Thought of it suddenly and decided to write it down, hope you enjoy it and sorry if the grammer is off, English is not my first language.
"Deeks, it is impossible 'impossible" to count stars!", Said Kensi making hand gestures as if speaking to a five year old.
"I'm telling you it is possible!" Deeks insisted looking at Callen and Sam seeking help, "Guys! Tell her!"
"Yes, it is very possible to count every single star in the sky." Said Callen with a smile.
"See!" Beamed Deeks; looking at Kensi who rolled her eyes and said pointing at Callen as a matter of fact, "He's being Sarcastic!"
Deeks threw a glare at Callen and looked over to Sam for help.
Said person shook his head amused "Really Deeks?"
Deeks gave a huge sigh and stated confidently, "I can prove it!"and grabbed Kensi's hand rushing to the nearest exit.
So here was Kensi with Deeks, in the middle of the night, on a beach, with a sky filled with stars.
Deeks laid a blanket on the sand and laid down facing the sky.
Kensi stood next to him crossing her hands and raising one eyebrow, not sure if she wants to step on him –none too gently- or lay next to him. Sighing in surrender she decided to just sit beside him.
"You know, stars are beautiful, they twinkle all night, and they are bright and shiny when it's dark."
Kensi smiles at Deeks cheesiness but says nothing.
"So… Done counting?" She asked sarcastically after a while.
"Yes." Deeks answered her as a matter of fact making her look at him in disbelief.
At that moment Kensi had the most comical face ever that made Deeks chuckle. He sat up a bit from his laying form, bringing his knees up and his weight on the palms of his hands. "One."
"Huh?"
"One."
He repeated. "I see one star. One beautiful shining star that lights up my world." He slowly started closing the distance between them whispering softly, "This star has a name and it's Kensi" and he caught her in a lip-lock.
