A/N: I think I will need to post the oneshot I wrote of how Caroline got turned. But that might take some time... Still undecided about it!

He rather liked his new childe. She was his favourite at the moment.
Caroline was so much like him when he had first awakened. She played with her food before striking it, and it constantly amused him how the men that she chose always ended up with a heartbroken expression just before they died.
Yet there was something strange about her, almost innocent in a way. Even when Caroline sunk her teeth into the throat of her newest prey, she managed to do so with a look that suited a lost child. Sometimes Angelus wondered if it was possible that a little of that broken soul had remained inside his childe when he had changed her.
