I stare out of my window, nothing to do. Token is visiting his cousins, Clyde is seeing his Uncle, my parents are out, and Craig and Tweek are probably kissing somewhere. I turn to my bed, picking up a Star Trek comic and reading it. I only hope I might be able to complete my own mission one day.
I think Tweek is really nice. Whenever Clyde and I have lightsaber battles, he's always there, telling us to be careful. I only get to talk to him sometimes, because Craig is protective of him. Also, he freaks out a lot, so you have to be careful around him, but I don't mind, because it's kind of funny, sometimes.
Craig and Tweek have been going out for a year, I think, since me and my friends got them together when we were 13. I wish I hadn't now, because, um, I'll tell you a secret.
I like Tweek.
He'll never want to date me, though. I'm just Kevin Stoley, and I'm not even properly part of the group. Whenever I get dressed in my actual Star Trek costume, he gets scared and thinks I'm going to kill him or something.
"Kevin!" My door opens suddenly, and I look at Tweek, who's just rushed in. How did he get in? Is he a ninja? That's pretty cool, to have a ninja as a friend. I put my comic down as Tweek sits on the bed, looking upset.
"Hi, Tweek." I say, smiling a bit at him. He doesn't even look at me. Nice.
"Craig broke up with me! You're the only one I can talk to because Token and Clyde are out and I obviously can't talk to Craig because he's such an asshat oh god don't tell him he's an asshat –" I giggle at him, making him stop and take a few breaths. He goes on tangents a lot.
"Okay, I believe you'll be together in due course." I reassure him, because I know it's true. Everytime Craig and Tweek break up, they're snogging again in less than an hour. Just, Tweek's never come to me before about it.
"Not this time!" Tweek shook his head, looking like he might cry. I pass him a tissue solemnly. "He-he read my diary," I smile, biting my lip. Even I, a massive nerd, don't call it a 'diary'. "Now he knows!" Tweek whines. I tilt my head, not understanding.
"He knows I have a crush on you!" He blurts out, and slams his hands over his mouth, going red. My eyes widen. "Oh god, please don't be freaked out!" He's telling me. "I'm sorry! I'll never talk to you again! I won't even look at you. Jesus Christ, I-"
I interrupt, beaming. "May the force be with you, Tweek."
I apply that force to his lips, and all is well again.
