This is my first Song-Story… I really should be working on my TDI one and another one I haven't put up, but I bought the song Hand Of Sorrow by Within Temptation and had to write this after reading the lyrics. The characters are just random; I got the names of a site. It's suppose to be set a long time ago, but with modern weapons.
You should all listen to the song while reading this to set the mood. Trust me.
The child without a name grew up to be the hand
To watch you, to shield you, or kill on demand
The choice he'd made he could not comprehend
His blood a grim secret they had to command
"Itsuki!" The girl shouted. A man grabbed her from behind. She screamed. She struggled. She knew they would kill her. The boy looked up, unsure of what to do. Many things ran through his head. Which was more powerful; his love for the girl or his honor?
He's torn between his honor and the true love of his life
He prayed for both but was denied
An explosion. Screams. Guns. Swords. Another scream. Every single type of weapon being used. A battle that would never, ever be forgotten. Itsuki stood in one spot, eyes closed. A man, an advisor, appears, "What do you treasure most; your honor, or Noriko?"
So many dreams were broken and so much was sacrificed
Was it worth the ones we loved and had to leave behind?
So many years have past, who are the noble and the wise?
Will all our sins be justified?
"Noriko!" The boy screamed, pulling out his sword. She was more important. More important than honor. She heard him. No noise left her throat. The pain was unbearable. Why did it end like this?
The curse of his powers tormented his life
Obeying the crown was a sinister crime
His soul was tortured by love and by pain
He surely would flee, but the oath made him stay
She closed her eyes, whispering his name. Her hands clutched his cross necklace. The one memory it held as that night. The only night she even cared about. Surely he would be killed for trying to find her.

He loved her. That was clear now. He'd do anything for her. Honor could be rebuilt, but this relationship could not. He could start a new life with Noriko never leaving his sight,

One more breath, she thought every second. Itsuki… She needed him to be there. She wouldn't let go until his lips touched hers. Another cut off scream. Something falls. One more breath.

He sat on his knees. The girl opened her eyes. Attempted to speak. Silenced by his gentle kiss and whisper, "I'm sorry." Weakly, she smiled, "I love you." Her eyes close with one last breath. Her final breath.

He carried her limp, broken body. He entered the palace. It was silent. He knew they were all looking at him. He placed her body on the ground and kissed her cold lips, "I love you too."
Not that depressing, right? I really didn't want to kill her… but the song…
