Merely A Shadow

A small poem dedicated to Shadow the hedgehog. He expresses his feelings for Amy but in the end it appears that it's to much. Rated so because of suicide but otherwise it's okay. Kinda sad you've been warned D Read and review please.

This is a poem dedicated to Shadow and how his feelings for Amy get the better of him. Hope you like it=D

Merely a Shadow

Merely a shadow,
Compared to him.
I'm looked upon,
Like a deadly sin.

Merely a shadow,
Who loves her so.
But I cannot tell her,
She can never know.

Merely a shadow,
Whose past is gone.
A shadow who's been living,
terribly long.

Merely a shadow,
Who hides in the dark.
A shadow who was born,
upon old ARK.

Merely a shadow,
Who's black and red.
One that was hunted,
Wanted dead.

Merely a shadow,
But not to her.
He gets in the way though,
Limbs I want to tear.

Merely a shadow,
But not any more.
Tomorrow's the last,
My heart no longer sore.

Merely a shadow,
Taking in deaths glare.
But is anybody there,
Do they even care?

Merely a shadow,
Who picked it up and meant to kill.
But even so,
He loved her still.

Merely a shadow,
Covered in blood.
Merely a friend,
Tears creating a flood.
