This is a short oneshot/songfic going off of my story, Harry Potter and The Mystery Girl. If you have not read that story, might want to look into it. I do not own HP. I do not own There Goes My Life by Kenny Chessney. Please leave a comment, I will answer it in the next chapter of Harry Potter and the Mystery Girl.

All he could think about was,

/I'm too young for this,

Got my whole life ahead,

Hey I'm just a kid myself,

How am I gonna raise one?

Draco stared at her. Her hair fell perfectly around his shoulders. He loved her but, he wasn't ready for this. A child? No way.

All he could see were his dreams goin' up in smoke.
So much for ditchin' this town and hangin' out on the coast.
Oh well, those plans are long gone.

He thought about all that was to be lost, opposed to all that was to gain. His parents would disown him, pull his inheritance. He'd gotten the cane once from his father and didn't want to go through that again...

"I can't do this. No. You need to get rid of it."

Even as he said the words, she knew she would never get rid of it. She wasn't that kind of person.

"Draco, you know I can't do that."

"Then this is where I leave you."

And he said,
There goes my life.
There goes my future, my everything.
Might as well kiss it all good-bye.
There goes my life...

He turned on his heel and left, trying to ignore her quiet sobs. He walked into the Slythrin common room, and immediately wished he could take it all back.

Fearing someone would see him cry, he retreated to his room and pulled the covers over his head.

/Dreamland/

A couple years of up all night and a few thousand diapers later.
That mistake he thought he made covers up the refrigerator.
Oh yeah...he loves that little girl.

He smiled and waved goodnight at a small girl with white hair in Avery's hairstyle. Thank god she inherited Avery's face and Personality.

He wasn't much to look at, though he was proud of his hair. Now that It wasn't slicked back, it was untidy.

Momma's waiting to tuck her in,
As she fumbles up those stairs.
She smiles back at him dragging that teddy bear.
Sleep tight, blue eyes and bouncin' curls.

He hugged her tight and made sure she had her teddy before nudging her gently towards the stairs. She smiles back at him. She also has his blue eyes. He picks her up and carries her up the stairs.

He smiles...
There goes my life.
There goes my future, my everything.
I love you, daddy good-night.
There goes my life.

-End Dream-

"Avery, Avery stay with me!" She shook her head. "I'm going on a trip. I won't be coming back here, Draco. Take care of our daughter."

She had that Honda loaded down.
With Abercrombie clothes and 15 pairs of shoes and his American Express.
He checked the oil and slammed the hood, said you're good to go.
She hugged them both and headed off to the West Coast.

"No!" He knew he was crying, but the love of his life was walking down a tunnel toward a blinding light, never to return. "I love you Draco!" And she was gone.

And he cried,
There goes my life.
There goes my future, my everything.
I love you.
Baby good-bye.

There goes my life.
There goes my life.
Baby good-bye.

He woke up with a strange numbness in his chest. The Covers around him were soaked with sweat and tears. He heard a bell in the distance chiming midday, heard a baby crying, heard Crabbe asking him what was wrong.

He didn't respond.

He couldn't.
