Word of the Day 100 Challenge: Jobbery, frantic
Deliberation
by Red Wolf
Mr Croup strolled through the tunnel, his hands folded neatly behind his back, as if he was deliberating a fascinating theory. "Have you noticed, Mr Vandemar, how they always blame some jobbery for delivering their final fate into our very capable hands."
"Aye. That I have, Mr Croup." Mr Vandemar dragged a steel pipe along the stone walls, leaving a trial of bright sparks where it struck the steel embedded in the wall.
Mr Croup's eyes were bright with the anticipation of completing his task. "If they had not broken some decree, they would never chance to cross our path."
