Title: Percabeth: The Later Years

Summary: All throughout Percy Jackson and the Olympians, questions kept popping up in my head. OMG, Percabeth is so cute! They're getting married, no doubt about it. But how will Percy propose? What will the wedding look like? Will there be Percabeth babies?! Well, now I'm answering those questions.

A/N: So, this is pretty much a remake the Percabeth: The Later Years on my other (now extinct) account. I was not at all happy with how that one turned out, even though all the reviews were pretty much positive. I did, however, like the idea. So I decided to rewrite it.

Read and enjoy!

Perseus Jackson had been acting strange all night. First, he had taken Annabeth to a much fancier restaurant than they usually went to. He could barely speak, and when he did, his voice shook with the effort. He kept patting his pockets, too.

Being a daughter of Athena, Annabeth noticed everything. But she never made the connection. Until…

Until he got down on one knee.

With shaky hands, he produced a ring box from his pocket and held it up to Annabeth. "Wise Girl, you're my b-best friend. We've b-been through so much…t-together." He took a deep breath before continuing. "I love you more than I've ever loved anyone else in my entire life. And I want to spend the r-rest of my life with y-you. Will you m-marry me?"

Annabeth looked up from the ring box, her hand covering her mouth. When her gray eyes met his sea green ones, she lost it. In an instant, she was on the floor next to Percy, hugging him as the tears rolled down her cheeks. "Yes, Seaweed Brain! Yes!"

Percy let out a sigh of relief, and then laughed. A giddy excitement overwhelmed him. He'd just proposed to Annabeth…and she'd said yes!

"Don't you want to see the ring?" he asked, gently pulling her away from him and placing the ring box in her hand.

Annabeth didn't bother to answer, because of course he knew the answer. She took a deep breath, and then lifted the lid. And gasped.

To the average girl, the ring would've been a disappointment. There were no precious gems on the ring – not even the traditional diamond. Instead, five words had been etched into the gold band.

Percy carefully took the ring out of the box, and slid it onto Annabeth's ring finger. She just continued to stare at the words, repeating them over and over again in her mind.

As long as we're together.

A/N: For those of you who are familiar with me and my stories, you know that I always add a question at the end of the chapter for you to answer. And for those of you who didn't know…well, now you do. So here it is, folks!
