"Prongs, stop pacing you're gonna ruin my carpet!" Sirius screamed at his best friend. "What's the matter?"
"I'proposingtoLilykinstonightan dIdontknowwhattodo!" James yelled.
"Alright, pause, rewind, slowdown, play." Remus said looking up from his book.
"I... Am... Going... To... Propose... To... Lily... Tonight... and... I... Don't... Know... What... To... Do!" James said as slow as possible.
"Oh,Prongsie,Prongsie, prongsie!" Sirius screamed, pulling his adoptive brother into a hug."Look,Remus, he's all grown up."
"He may look like an adult, but he will always be our little immature Prongs." Remus responded, "But congrats anyway, man, how are you going to do it?"
"I don't know!"
"What do you mean you don't know?" Sirius screamed, "Where are you goiing?"
"Diagon Alley, wee're going to dinner."
"Well, ask her there."
"But what if she says no?" James practically yelled, waking Peter.
"We'll it's not like she's never turned you down before, and you could always ask again later, it only took you three hundred tries last time, plus she'd never say no, you've been dating for almost two years now!" remus then the door opened. Lily Evans walked in to the room. She kissed James' cheek.
"Ready to go?" she asked.
"Ummm, uhhh, hmmm." James mumbeled.
"Oh bloody hell, mate just ask her already!" Sirius yelled.
"As me what?" Sirius sighed and grabbed a small box from James' cloak, he then got down on one knee and dragged James with him.
"Lily Evans, you have made this incoherent idiot the happiest man to ever walk the face of the planet. Ever since you agreed to go out with him he's acted like he was zapped with a jumbling jinx. At the moment you have him so nervous that he can't string together a proper sentence, so I'm asking for him, Will you marry us, Lily?" Remus and Peter were rolling on the floor, laughing. Lily looked shocked as Sirius opened a box to reveal a cushion cut diamond rig set in a gold band.
"Please, Lily, make us the happiest men in the world?" Sirius tried again. Lily cracked a smile.
"Yes!" she cried out, "But only if James answers a question for me."
"Yes?" James asked suddenly looking less sick.
"I only have to marry you, right? Not your friends too?" Sirius looked hurt.
"You don't share our love, Lilykins?" He threw a hand over his heart dramatically.
"You only have to marry me if you say yes." James assured her. Lily smiled and threw her arms around his neck.
"Of course I'll marry you, you dolt!"
