Finn looked at himself in the small mirror inside his locker, he was dressed in his best clothes and gotten a new hair cut yesterday. He counted backwards to ten in his head.
"I can do this. I can do this. I can do this."He repeated to himself, holding the bouquet of red roses and the box of chocolates. He closed his locker smoothly before turning his vision to the beauty that was standing just a few steps away from him. His breathing hitched as he made it closer to the beautiful being.
One of her friends who saw him approaching them, tapped her on the shoulder, and she turned around with a confused look on her face but when she saw the box of chocolate and flowers she smiled. Finn stopped at her locker, cleared his throat and looked at her like she was the only person in the world.
"Rey Skywalker, w-will you go to Homecoming w-with me?"His heart was pounding as he said those words out loud. He tried to process what he had just said but everything in his mind was a jumble mess. He bent down on one knee, with the box of chocolates on his chest and the flowers pushed out in front of her.
He waited for the answer that could change his moment forever. Hoping that her answer would be yes by the look in her eyes as she stared at him in awe. People stopped and watched the scene that was unfolding infront of them, some with their phones out and others taking in this moment.
"Yes. I would love to go to Homecoming with you."She smiled at him, her friends along her smiled at him also, awwing at that this cute scene.
"G-Great. I'll pick you up at 8."He couldn't believe that she actually said 'yes'. He smiled nervously at her giving her the box of chocolates and flowers before slowly walking away still looking at her.
A smile ached on his face as he replayed that moment over and over again in his head. This was his happiest moment ever.
