It was a pain in the ass. Dragging the huge book to Mason's house. He actually carried it in his Lacrosse bag. If he was fully human, his back would have been aching and his shoulders would have had leather marks. But luckily, he didn't need to worry about that. He knocked on the guy's door, confident that he'd be excited to see him.

"Oh, hey!" Mason says hesistant, but chirpy.

"Hey you" Brett says winking. Tapping his bag, he's very cool calm and collected.

He could feel Mason's pleasure at having him here. He could feel the heat in the way Mason blushed. The way he'd shyly look down as he looked down on him. The Were knew the effect that he had on everyone. It meant more to see Mason go through it. Usually he was confident when it came to guys. But the human was a puzzle. Brett didn't know how to ask him out.

Everytime he saw him, he wanted to, but when push came to shove he'd greet him. Mason would smile at him, literally taking his breath away. The popular were would look really red and flushed before carefully changing the subject.

"Bestiary, just for you" Brett said tapping the bag.

"That's great" Mason said tapping the door. "But...could I look at it another time? Corey's here, so..."

"So?" Brett asked. He was very aware that Mason was keeping the door half shut. Smiling he playfully pushed it open, and walked down the hallway.

"Brett, can we just talk here?" Mason asked pointing towards the door.

"What? You embarrased? Studying with Corey is kinda of a Papa roach last resort isn't he? Pack him off to Scott's Chimera Daddy Day Care, and I can get the party started" Brett says pushing the living room door open.

"Brett don't!"

Mason shouts as Brett just stands there in disbelief.

Sure enough Corey's inside sitting on Mason's couch. Head back, Tank shirt sweaty...with his pants down.
