Just a simple rewrite of a dialogue-only story I've written on Ao3 one time called The Time Lloyd Couldn't Sleep (I still go by the same time, TheTrickestOne) (Takes place between Seasons 1-2) (Morro and Lloyd are both kids)

"Time for bed, kiddo."

"But, Kai! I can't go to bed! There's a ghost haunting me!"

"Haha, really funny. I'm not falling for that this time."

"No, I'm serious!"

"That's what you said the last time, Lloyd."

"Not you too, Jay! Is there anyone else not on my side?"

"Zane says he believes you."

"I said no such thing, Cole!"

"You guys are mean,"

"Guys, guys, I'll take Lloyd to bed, because clearly, I'm the only one who believes him."

"Thank you, Nya!"

"Uh-huh, you go do that, sis."

"..."

"..."

"So, Lloyd, what's this ghosts of yours' name?"

"I dunno yet, he won't tell me, he just says things to me,"

"...what kind of things?"

"Like 'I should be the Green Ninja' or something like that."

"Maybe it's your subconscious trying to put you down,"

"You do believe me, right?"

"Alright, you little rascal, time for bed. You've got a big day ahead of you tomorrow,"

"Wait, no-dang it! Come out, ghost, I'm not afraid of you!"

"..."

"I know you're there!"

"You'll never be the Green Ninja,"

"Stop telling me that, what do you want?"

"..."

"You're making this harder than it should be, ghost."

"That's not my name,"

"Then what is it?"

"I don't have to answer that,"

"Yeah, you do! They'll believe me when I tell them your name."

"Morro,"

"What?"

"That's my name, you wanted to know, and I said, Morro."

"Oh, spooky."

"..."

"So, Morro, why are you haunting me? Why are you so mad at me?"

"I can't believe we owe Kai and Jay twenty bucks,"

"That's because you've dragged me into this bet, Cole!"

"Well, I wouldn't have done it if I didn't believe him, Zane!"

"Right, but how do we know that this is not a trick? We both know how good of prankster Lloyd is."

"I-um, you're right. Go tell them what we heard, I'll keep listening."

"Alright, I'll be right back,"

"Wu lied to me,"

"Why?"

"He said that I was going to be the Green Ninja, he lied, I hate you for it."

"That's not a very good reason, if anything, hate destiny. I gotta fight my dad in the future and I really don't want to."

"I still hate you for it, now I'm bad and I have to haunt you,"

"You know, I used to be bad too. I gave that up."

"...what?"

"The school I went to said I was too much of a wuss to be evil. Then my uncle came along and said I was the Green Ninja, so I gotta change my 'evil ways'."

"..."

"I'm sorry, Morro, for making you hate me."

"Don't apologize to a dead person, when I died I...nevermind."

"...when did you...die?"

"I forget, probably forty years ago,"

"That's a long time...why do you want to haunt me?"

"I have to, I'd rather do that than go to the Cursed Realm,"

"What's that?"

"It's where ghosts go when they did something worth getting cursed for,"

"What did you do?"

"..."

"Fine, fine, don't tell me...my mom lied to me too-"

"You talk a lot, it's making me want to hate you more."

"She was the one to dump me at Darkley's School for Bad Boys-"

"Stop talking, Lloyd."

"Then everyone laughed at me and called me an orphan and-"

"Lloyd!"

"An' then...and…um…"

"You should go to sleep."

"No thanks. I'm going to annoy you until you leave me alone. I can wait a few hours."

"I'm not leaving."

"Oh, I know. Hey, wanna talk about how much my uncle sucks?"

"Only if you go to bed after so I can plot to kill you,"

"Deal!"

"...Lloyd is going to die..."

"No, he won't, not if we can help it."

"Should we tell Wu, Zane?"

"Tomorrow, he has a lot to explain."
