A/N: What happens if Inui is allergic to cats? A random Inui-centric drabble. Reviews are great. Thanx for reading and reviewing.
"Aachoo!"
Inui sneezed during morning practice, prompting Oishi to offer Inui his regular's jacket, thinking that Inui has developed a cold. Inui declined and moved away; continue observing the other members playing tennis.
After morning practice, Inui walked to his classroom and when he opened the door, another wave of sneezes came about him.
"Aachoo!"
Tezuka caught Inui sneezing, advised the data-man to skip the afternoon practice, go and see a doctor instead. Inui thanked Tezuka for his kind thoughts and assured the captain that he will be present during the afternoon practice.
Inui's sneezing continued until the end of the day. When it was time for the afternoon practice to start, Fuji caught him sneezing in the clubhouse.
"Aachoo!"
Fuji took a green box from his bag and gave it to Inui. Puzzled by its content, Inui turned the box around and after reading the words written on the box, he thanked Fuji for the wonderful gift. Fuji smiled and walked out of the clubhouse, leaving Inui to ponder, "Does wasabi powder helps in curing colds?"
Inui slipped the box of wasabi powder into his bag and walked onto the courts. He meant to tell Fuji that he wasn't catching a cold but his attention was distracted by the match between Kaidoh and Momoshiro and by the time afternoon practice has ended, he totally forgotten about it.
On his way home, he sneezed again and this time Kaidoh caught him. Instead of offering him advices and solutions to cure his sneezing, Kaidoh came up to him and apologized.
"I am sorry, Inui-senpai. I didn't know that you are allergic to cats. I promised I will find Miki a new owner soon."
Inui had no idea why Kaidoh would name the kitten they found while practicing at the riverside Miki. After saving the little furry animal from drowning, Kaidoh brought the kitten back to his house and took care of it for a few days, without his family's knowledge. Somehow, his mum found out and the kitten became homeless. After much pleading from Kaidoh, Inui accepted the favor of taking care of Miki for a few days but unfortunately, he miscalculated his allergies to cats.
"I hope you will find a new owner soon to…aachoo!"
Inui rubbed the bridge of his red nose, pushed up his specs and together with Kaidoh, they walked back to Inui's house and to Miki.
