My first thought was that my whole body was aching but I couldn't remember why. Then I realize I didn't remember anything, my name was Y/n but everything else was a blank. I heard the sounds of waves crashing to my right with a surprising difficultly I open my eyes a crack. The sunlight shined brightly and sea gulls flew above me riding on the refreshing ocean breeze.
I sat up rubbing my aching head,apparently I had been laying on the beach for a while judging by the sand governing my clothes.
"Hey! Who are you" a cheerful voice called out behind me. I jumped and turned to face the voice that had spoken. It was a boy who looked young with dark curly hair, a red t-shirt and a pair of jeans. He tilted his head to the side waiting for me to answer his question.
"I'm uhh Y/N" I said looking around trying to find anything that looked familiar, I mostly saw beach and a strange cliff with a women craved out if it. Nothing looked at all familiar to me, I only had one fuzzy memory of the stars shining brightly above me.
"I'm Steven Universe!" The boy said excitedly a wide grin on his face.
"Umm where am I exactly?"
"Beach City of course" He said a confused look crossing his face for a second but it quickly disappeared. I nodded my head slowly turning my gaze back to the ocean, the name triggered no memories. "What am I going to do?" I muttered under my breath holding my head in my hands.
"Is something wrong?" Steven asked moving so he was standing in front of me a worried look on his face. "Well..." I said hesitantly wondering if I should tell him about my apparent anesthesia but Steven seemed like someone I could trust.
"I can't remember anything but my name."
