Operation Get Reid a Girl

There's a new Agent in the BAU! Agent Louise Kent had been working with Andy Swan's Unit and is moving up the ranks. Spencer and Lou form a fast friendship but the rest of the team think they should be more. Is Spencer ready? Still grieving for Maeve the teams interference might be a push too far for our favorite genius.

A/N: Hi everyone (anyone)! This is my first ever fanfiction! I've been reading fanfiction for years so I decided to try my hand! It's going to be Reid/OC! This story is pre Dr Tara Lewis so Morgan never left. He is with Savannah (not married) and Savannah isn't pregnant/ hasn't had a baby (yet ?) I'm pretty sure everything also is the same at the moment anyway. I'm going to upload a couple of chapters today and see how they go!

"Why? It's only a movie! I promise she'll be better than Carrie." JJ exclaimed from her seat across from mine the jet.

"Better than Carrie? That wouldn't be hard. She puked on me!"

"A chick puked on you? Why am I only hearing about this now?" Morgan cut in. JJ ignored the interruption as Spencer nodded in answer.

"Look Spence you've got to get out there. Since Maeve..."

"Since Maeve I haven't looked at another girl? Yeah that's true and you should respect that JJ. If I wanted to find someone I would...I'm just...not ready." The conversation went silent as the small group thought of Maeve and the short relationship between her and their favorite genius. Garcia's face suddenly popped up on the screens throughout the jet.

"Greetings crime fighters! How long will it be until you land?"

"We'll be home in about 20 minutes Penelope." JJ replied with a small smile.

"Oh thank goodness! Sir, Agent Kent is here for her second interview. Will I tell her to wait?"

Hotch looked thoughtful for a moment. "Yes please Garcia. You can tell her to wait in my office."

"Oh please hire her! She's so nice! She showed me the cutest video EVER! It's like a mix of laughing babies and-"

"Garcia! Just...tell her to wait in my office."

"...ok Boss Man. Garcia out.

"Who is she?" I asked.

"Her name is Louise Kent. She was downstairs working in Andy Swan's unit for the past 5 years. She's an excellent agent and would be a great addition to the team IF I hire her." With a raised eyebrow Hotch returned to his file.
