Chapter 1: I miss mum and dad
14 year old James potter looked down at two graves with a frown. James never cries when he sees tombstones, but this was different because they were his parents Harry and Ginny Potter. Just five days ago his parents died from a fire at their house. The fire was not by accident, it was found that people did it on purpose. As, he was kneeling on the ground his two little siblings Albus, and Lily came by him and hugged him. Albus was in his third year, and Lily in her first. All three were placed in Gryffindor just like their parents. James started to cry when he thought of them. Lily was crying buckets with just knowing that they are gone, and Al was just crying like Lily. Their uncle Ron and Aunt Hermione came with them to see the grave since they were living with them for now on. Both Ron and Hermione were torn knowing they lost a best mate/brother in law and a sister/sister in law. Rose who was in Al's year, and Hugo who was in Lily's tear were back at Hogwarts.
After, minutes of just standing there, they went back to their home to get the rooms settled. Rose and Lily in one room right by Ron's and Hermione's, and Hugo, James, and Al down stairs by the kitchen. The kids got off from school for a week so they can take in what has happened in the last week. The weaselys got off from school for a couple of days so they could go to the weak and funeral. As, they were in the car all James thought of the day when he found out about his parents. He was in the middle of charms when a second year came in saying Professor McGonagall wanted to see him. He thought he was in trouble and this time he did not do anything. When he opened the door he saw Lily and Al in there. He sat down in a chair right by Lily when Professor McGonagall told them what happen to their parents. All three of them started to burst into tears. James was mad, sad, and ready to punch someone. They got the rest of the day off so they could just think. Al and Lily went in the common room while James just walks outside. James had just written in a letter saying how much he hated his parents, and that was the last thing wrote to them. He felt that his parents will never know how sorry he is now that they are gone.
When they got back to the house Lily went in her room, Al wet in his room, and James just sat in the living room. James thought that this was the worst year ever. He thought how his dad was in the Tri- wizard tournament by his age, and how his mum was in the D.A in her fourth year. When dinner came hell froze over because James for once was not hungry. He had just played with his food. He kept messing with messy brown hair. James had Brown hair and his mum's big brown eyes, Al looked just like Harry did at that age, and Lily looked like Ginny only with Harry's green eyes. The kids had to go back to Hogwarts tomorrow, which James was not happy about. Lily and Al were happy because they missed the school. James was not happy because he knew they knew everyone would feel bad for them, and James hatted that. That night Lily could not sleep alone so she slept in James and Al's room for the night. The last thing Lily said that night was that she missed mum and dad.
The next morning the kids got ready to go back to Hogwarts. They had to use floo powder to get too Hogwarts. James was the last one to floo, so by the time he got there Al and Lily were already with their friends. It was around breakfast when he got settled, so he went to the Great hall for some food.
"James , Al ,Lily," all their cousins screamed as the three entered the Great hall.
