As I write this, I'd like to thank Zellygirl, the author of the "Betrayal of the worst kind" series which this fic is a direct sequel to,for giving me permission to use her story for mine. If you read the series, you know T.K. and Kari are dead. T.K. is still in that big place in the sky, but Kari is alive,though not for long….
It was 11:30 at night. Not many were out at this time. But there was one. Someone whose world died with a young, 15 year old boy. Yamato Ishida drove his new,light blue Saddan
Across Odaiba. Uncharacteristically dressed in a black, leather coat, and dark,black jeans, Matt also carried a weight on his shoulders. Images of Takeru Takashi, Yamato's younger brother, his one ray of hope, lying dead in the hospital. Kari,you bitch, you killed him, and you'll pay! Yamato angrily thought.
Though Kari had not literally killed Takeru,it was undeniable she was a strong part of it. Though she had claimed to love Takeru, Hikari Kamiya was in fact in love with, and dating, Davis(Don't know his last name.)Takeru discovered it mere hours before his death. Blinded with rage and sadness, Takeru was a victim of a hit and run. Yamato felt his pocket. "I don't know if I can do this…" He said anxiously.

Yamato was not the only one awake. Hikari Kamiya stood on the catwalk of her apartment, staring into the dark sky. "Oh,god…Takeru…What have I done?" She could not hold out any longer. Warm tears ran down her cheeks as she covered her face with her pink gloves. "Oh,lord…Takeru…I destroyed my life…Everyone's life…Oh,lord…" As she sobbed more, Kari noticed a blue Saddan. Kari ignored the vehicle, unaware of it's driver. As she continued to cry, she soon heard a creaking sound. Someone opening a door. "Tai?" She asked, slightly scared. "Guess again." A familiar voice spoke. Kari instantly recognized the voice. "Y…Yamato?" Kari was confused. What was Yamato doing here at this hour? As Yamato came closer to the catwalk, Kari saw his eyes. The look in those azure eyes…Kari knew this look, but she had only seen it once before: When Yamato had atacked the kids a few years back in Digi-world. Scared, She backed up to the railings."Kari,you have betrayed me…May god forgive me…" As Yamato spoke, he reached into his leather pocket, pulling out a revolver, and aiming it at Kari. "…For what I must DO!!" With that, Yamato fired into Kari's heart. As Kari stood, her heart bleeding, she smiled. "Takeru…I'm coming, Takeru…" And with those words, Kari fell to the 100 ft. low pavement. Yamato quickly exited. His quest wasn't over….
