Second Son

"What should we do, Roxas?" Sora asked his other. It's been a almost a year since Sora got back to Destiny Island and life was settling back in just like it was a year ago. Roxas can pop in a transparent form whenever he wants. Sora and Roxas were in friendly terms, talking and chattering with each other whenever they have the time. Roxas would give Sora advice and Sora would be there to cheer his nobody up, rubbing his enthusiasm to the blonde. Heck, Sora even got Roxas to team up and prank their silver-hair friend.

"Hm…" Roxas responded thoughtfully, thinking hard. "We could give her candies." He suggested.

"I think that's a bit too corny." Sora responded. "I gave her boxes of candies for three years straight, remember?"

"Oh yeah," Roxas responded while looking through Sora's memory, "You handed her a half-eaten box too."

"Hey, those chocolate were good," Sora insisted. "I couldn't resist it, all right!" Roxas rolled his eyes before getting back into topic.

"We can't do a card," Roxas noted. "I gave her one last year."

"That was a good handmade card," Sora commented. "I wonder if Kairi or Namine could give me an art lesson or two."

"I have one!" Roxas exclaimed. "We could bring a bouquet of eleven roses and one fake rose. Then, we could write a card saying, 'I'll love you till the last rose falls.'"

"…Somehow that sounds kinda lovers would do…and I don't want mom to think I'm getting incesty around her…" Sora commented. Roxas shivered at that thought and made a face.

"Yeah. That sounds like what you and I would do for Kairi and Namine," Roxas responded, Sora and him went back thinking.

"I know!" Sora exclaimed. "How about we…" Roxas listen to his other until he finish and thought for a moment.

"What are we waiting for, Sora?" Roxas grinned. "Let's call the others and start planning!"

That day, Sora and his friends gathered and began planning what they should do for their mothers.

On Mother's Day, Kairi, Riku and Sora booked-spending all their munny they worked so hard defeating countless Heartless- Destiny Island's fanciest restaurant, The Dinning Room, and brought their family members over to celebrate for their mothers. And needless to say, their mothers and everybody else had a swell time. Roxas and Namine watch the parents laugh and smile in their transparent form, allowing their others to spend lost times with their family.

After their meal, Roxas finally manage to take over Sora's body and sang, "It's a Small World," in front of everybody.

And everybody there has long-term memory. Plus, Riku now has the perfect blackmail material for future uses.

That night, Mrs. Masaki and Sora return late and night after spending in the restaurant.

"Wait here, mom," Sora said. "I got one more surprise for you." He ran upstairs and Mrs. Masaki waited patiently. She heard shuffling and a curse-which she frown in dismay- before hearing footsteps coming down. Sora enter the room this time with Roxas holding a heart-shape cake, smiling happily that's almost similar to Sora and both Others chorus happily:

"Happy Mother's Day, Mom!"

Mrs. Masaki was a bit shock and taken back a little but she quickly recover and smile happily with tears of happiness springing out from her eyes.

Yes…

This is the best Mother's Day gift she has truly received from both her sons.
