Youji crept about the school library until he found the corner Ritsuka was in. He was standing at the end of the aisle, a book open in his hands.

"Hey, Ri-tsu-ka," Youji gave him an exaggerated leer as he advanced down the aisle towards him. Knowing that someone was mad at him had never discouraged him in the slightest. He and Natsuo were above the mediocre kids in the rest of their year.

"Ughhh, go away, Youji," Ritsuka's ears flicked in annoyance. He side-eyed Youji sternly.

Youji just laughed. "No way. That dumb girl cries too easily. I can't believe just hugging you is enough to upset her! Don't you think-?"

Youji swooped forward to hug Ritsuka around the middle and was caught off guard when Ritsuka stepped back swiftly. "Don't touch me!"

The tone of Ritsuka's voice made Youji flinch internally. Looking up from where he was crouched, Youji had an instant's vision of a tall figure towering over him.

"You're so annoying! Stop doing that already!" Ritsuka shut the book and put it back in its place. "If you keep bullying Yuiko, I'll tell Soubi to stop letting you play games at his." He walked past Youji and left.

Youji straightened up and remained where he stood. After a few minutes, he realised he was feeling a funny sensation that made him shake involuntarily. Cold?

He was sure Ritsuka hadn't meant to look so disgusted.
