Caught
Rebekah is determined to take over her life. It started out at cheerleading practice and has now reached Tyler. Caroline is trying not to show the pain of his betrayal, but knows she has failed when Klaus suddenly sits down next to her at the grill, where she was watching her boyfriend (ex-boyfriend) flirt with "Barbie Klaus".
"She is getting under your skin and you are making it all too easy for her, love."
She should be scared, but Caroline has gotten far too used to threatening presences during her short life. She looks at him, eyebrows drawn together in a frown.
"Why do you even care?"
He wolfishly grins then, his eyes straying to a point behind her, right when a cool hand touches her neck. Rebekah is suddenly there, leaning over her shoulder and rubbing her nose across Caroline's cheek.
"Because you are much too much fun to play with for either of us to resist."
