A/N: Hey everyone! So Quilava desides she should post a story and she's alive too? Ha ha! Yes I am. I've been so caught up with school and finals it's just been crazy! I have 2 days left of school and 4 finals to finish! x.x Plus My whole English class has to finish a play we're doing "A Mid-Summer Night's Dream" I'm Snug and have to roar in front of my peers! That's going to be scary... Well anyway here's a quick update. I've been working on a story since Febuary and it's like half done. This summer, I plan on writing and drawing. I have like 11 story ideas that I just need to put on paper. Well umm I'm going to move on and tell you about the poem type thing I wrote. I had to make a poem for English class with a certain amount of stuff and it had to be about a picture from a magazine. I found a picture of wine barrels and my first thought was Barrels=Donkey Kong. XD My teacher said that if it remided you of something to put it in the poem so I wrote this. I got an A on this little thing and my teacher made a comment on it. He said it was a nice Mario connection! XD I so happy he said that! I should probably stop talking so I can let you all read it. I hope you enjoy it! And if you can, please review!
Barrel Fight
In a vast, moist jungle somewhere,
Battered broken barrels lied on the damp ground,
Shattered and soaked in an intoxicating liquid.
What had happened? A winemaker's worst nightmare.
A gorilla trekked the wilderness
Princess held captive, trapped,
He moved nonchalantly along the trail.
The humidity taking a toll on his partner's hair.
Suddenly, cry from behind came there way.
A man in a red cap and overalls came stood proudly.
Demanding to let go of the hostage or else.
The monkey laughed. It was a challenge.
The waterfall roared as a gentle breeze swept through
A cabin had barrels out front and grass could be smelled.
Peacefully quiet and serene, but not for long.
The avid ape attacked.
The young man evaded his hat now on the forest floor.
Enraged, the primate painfully punched again.
Rubbing his cheek, the man put on his cap.
A series of brutal attacks took place.
Both heavily damaged, the crazed killer kicked.
The gorilla commenced bowling bolder–like barrels.
The ignorant idiot insisted his death.
The monkey's fist was a solid brick on his body.
One last blow was dealt and everything went black.
The man was cold and silent lacking movement likes lead wright.
All hopes were lost, until he began to glow brilliantly.
He sprung back to life like a robot.
An emerald mushroom in his hand.
Bruised and beaten, the baboon surrendered.
The smiled reunited with his princess.
They ran for each other arms out spread.
Her elegance embarrassed enchanting the ape?
The man frown, heart in pieces
She pecked him on the cheek and smiled warmly.
To her it was all clear to see
He was a stray puppy lost, helpless, and misguided.
He went down the wrong path blindly.
The man slowly walked away, head down low.
The violet liquid leaked into the lake
A fish swam by investigating the foreign substance
It wouldn't hurt him or his friends.
If He drank it, a taste wasn't bad.
