Summary: Sookie called Rory after Luke and Lorelai broke up in season 4. What if she had called someone else too? Who did sookie call?

Rory had showed up at the crap shack after sookie had called her and told her that something was up with Lorelai.
Rory had run into the house and up the stairs telling Sookie thank you and that she could go home. Rory ran into her moms room and was now talking to her.
Someone else sookie called was on his way over.
"He could have been the one." Lorelai said crying.
Little did rory and lorelai know someone was standing in the door way and had just walked up when he heard lorelai's confession. He continued to stand there and listen not wanting to interrupt just yet.
"He was the one. I always had this feeling that everything was right. I felt safety, comfort. I believed that I was finally going to get the whole package. I love Luke and that feeling is never going to go away."
She continued to cry
"I really screwed up this time."
"Mom, it wasn't your fault. You had no idea grandma was planning this."
"Luke thinks its my fault. I don't think he's ever going to talk to me again."
That's when the guy standing in the door way clears his throat and knocks on the doorframe.
The girls jump and look over at the door to see Luke standing there.
Lorelai starts to wipe away her tears before he can see them.
"Rory can I talk to your mom please"
"Sure. " Rory leaves.
Luke goes to lay on the bed next to Lorelai and wraps her arms around her. She sniffles a couple of times.
"How much did you hear?" she says as she looks up at him.
"I came in right before you started talking about getting the whole package."
"Was everything you said true? Did you really think I'm the one? The one that could give you the whole package?"
"Yes!" she looks into his eyes.
"I love you Luke! I don't think I will ever stop!"
Luke starts to say something but Lorelai cuts him off.
" I know… I know you broke up with me and I know that you probably never want to get back together, but I can't help how I feel. I've loved you for a while and it will never go away."
He kissed her
"Lorelai, do you know how long I've been wanting to hear you say that."
"What?"
"I have loved you since the first day you walked into the diner! I've loved you for many years and I love you more and more with each day. I will always love you!"
Lorelai who is now crying happy tears.
"I want to be the one to give you the whole package. I never wanted to break up I just needed to cool down and think."
"I want you to give me the whole package. I'm ready whenever you are! I don't want you to ask anytime soon though. I want you to ask in the perfect moment. When you think the time is right."
"Okay." He says
I will do it when she least expects it he thinks to himself.
"I love you, Luke"
"I love you too"
They kiss and just lay there holding each other.
End.
