Chapter 1
"Whoo! That's right! You go girl!" Dean exclaims as he watches the stripper take off her mini-skirt.
"Dean. Deeaaannn. DEAN!"
"What? What the Hell are you doing, Sam?"
"I just found out that there was a huge mass of demons in the area." Dean sits up and puts on a shirt. "And Dean," Sam says warily, "you were talking in your sleep again," and Sam bursts out laughing.
"Shut-up!" Dean commands. They get dressed, go downstairs, tell the visitors and the staff in the motel to take their cars and go to the church for a "praying ceremony for the sick and dead" and they all believed them. Sam and Dean went back upstairs to talk.
"So what should we do," Sam questions Castiel, whom they prayed for, "I mean, we can't just sit here, what are we gonna do?"
"Well," Cas says, "we need to protect the citizens of the town that haven't been possessed, which should be very few."
Clunk! Dean shuts the trunk on the Impala while Sam and Castiel are walking up the steps of the church, carrying over 100 pounds of rock salt and a few shot guns. Dean catches up to them inside the church and they throw the salt and guns in one of the pews. Everyone is already inside, waiting for the ceremony to start.
"Time to start coverin'. Sam, you start on the west side, Cas, you start on the east, and I'll start in the front." They finish the church, go back the hotel, and tell everyone to come with them. They bring them to the church where everything is all set up: The guns are loaded, salt is around all the church, food, and beds are set up.
"This," Dean explains, "is what we need for our safety." "Why do we need safety? And better yet, salt," Some random person asks. "Because," Dean says, "there are demons surrounding the town. Sam," Dean points to Sam, "and Cas," points to Cas, "are going to get everyone from town back here and we'll explain everything later."
When Cas and Sam return with 16 people, and some pets, following them, they sit them all down and tell them what's really happening.
"Does everyone here go to church," Dean starts, "because then you must have heard pastor whoever tell you about demons." Everyone nods their heads and Sam starts talking, "Well, demons are very real. There are over 400 of them around here. Dean and I, well, we hunt demons and ghosts and monsters for our job." Everyone gasps but he just ignores it, "I'm sure some of you have never handled a gun before so we are going to teach you all how personally. So, please, stay seated while we talk."
"Well, here ya go, Cas. Your first loaded gun by…you."
"How do I shoot it?"
"You pull and push this barrel here and then you pull this thingie down and then you pull the trigger," Dean points to everything while talking in a baby voice.
"Ah, this is very interesting. You should know us angels use swords-"
"Shut-up, Cas!" Dean exclaims, "You are a person here, not an angel. And yes, I know, you use an angel sword to smite each other," Dean chuckles as he informs Cas.
"Everyone, everyone!" Sam announces, "we are all settled and we will separate you into two groups. This half," he points to the left side, "will be working with Dean. And this half," he points to the right side, "will be working with me. So split up!"
Everyone splits and goes to their designated areas, Dean and Sam get started working while rejected Castiel sits on the altar, waiting for his que. Dean walks up to the left side and sees a magnificently beautiful girl with long, curly, dark brown hair, and her eyes are deep sea blue with golden flecks.
"Hi, I'm Dean. You've probably seen me before," Dean tries to flirt with her, but epically fails, "what's your name?"
"I'm Emma," the beautiful girl states, "and I'm worried about my dad and brother. Do you think they're…demons?"
"I'm sorry to say this but, I'm not sure," Dean sees the sorrow in her pretty eyes when he notices three cats near Emma's feet, "oh. Are these yours?"
"Yes," Emma questions herself, " the short-furred, brown and white one is Nyla and the other one, black and white, is Frenna."
"Well, who is the black one?"
"Oh, that's my brother's stray cat, Twyla."
"Who's your brother?"
"His name is Liam. He was at college coming home when this happened. I'm not sure where my father was when it happened…"
"Oh, well one minute." Dean walks away and goes and finds Cas. "Cas!"
"Mmm…? Yes?"
"You know how to load a gun, so go teach that left side. I have to find two more people."
"But Sam said-"
"I don't care what Sam said! Just don't tell him. I'll be back in less than an hour."
