It was a cloudy night with no stars nor the moon itself. A young Machop tugged a Buneary out into a clearing of different colored flowers, "Here we are!"

"Oh!" The Buneary hopped forwards, leaning over to sniff to fragrance, "It's so beautiful, Mac," she smiled at the fighting type who just blushed and scratched the back of his head sheepishly, "I can see why you wanted to bring me here," she hesitated for a moment, "but why did you, I mean the flowers and the view is wonderful, but – why?"

Mac sighed, disappointed, "I was hoping for a full moon and stars tonight because I did bring you here for a reason."

She blinked, "Mac-"

He held up a hand, and she went quiet, "I brought you here because this is where my dad escorted my mom to," he stopped, eyes narrowing as the bushes rustled for a moment before going quiet, "reveal his feelings to her."

The rabbit flushed as he grabbed her paw and pulled her closer, "Winny, I love you," she was in shock, "and I have longed to hold you like this ever since, well, I fell for you."

Winny smiled back, nuzzling him, "I love you too, Mac! Oh, I'm the happiest pokemon alive!"

"How disgusting," both, startled, snapped their heads over to see a darkened figure with a floating spark of fire behind it, "you both make me sick to my stomach."

Mac pushed Winny behind him while glaring at the figure and puffed out his chest in a attempt to scare the other off, "You've got some nerve asshole! You looking for a fight?!"

"Mac," Winny whispered harshly as she finally caught sight of those frigid eyes of their possible opponent, "no, please no fighting!"

The flame behind the shadowed figure grew bigger to reveal a heavily scarred Charmeleon who smirked as the Machop's bravado faded, "Your funeral."

. . . . .

"Well," the same Charmeleon muttered, "both of them were a waste of my precious time," he dipped his blood-soaked claws into the lake, enjoying the soothing coolness, "maybe next time I'll have better luck – all these weaklings are pissing me off."

"Ares," he smiled softly, turning to see a beautiful Eevee behind him, "they're gone, right? Did they hurt you?" She asked, nuzzling his scaly arm lovingly while he relaxed into her 'touch'.

"Yeah," he whispered, "they're gone and no, they didn't hurt me. This is their blood, so don't worry your little head, ok, Cammie?" Said pokemon nodded and smiled as she stared out onto the glimmering lake that sparkled when the moon broke through the clouds.

Both stared down at the water, Ares' eyes widening as he only saw his reflection and not his partner's. He turned to her, but she was gone, "Cammie?" Ha asked with worry, hysteria was making itself known as he searched desperately for the missing Eevee.

"Cammie?!"

"Cammie! Not again – PLEASE!"

"I don't like the quiet," he whispered, static filling his head, "please, don't leave me."

..she is not coming back...gone...forever...alone...

"No!" He screamed, "Cammie! Come back! Tell them to be quiet! It hurts! It hurts! – it HURTS!"

The once peaceful night was filled with screams that would come to haunt any pokemon that traveled or lived nearby. No one could foresee the horrors that awaited them in the future.

My poor baby never gets a break 🙁 , anyways - I hope you all enjoyed!
