A/N: This is my first Fanfiction so like don't hate on it! (: teehee! Just so that you are not confuzzed about the story, Elaine is my own character that I have created and she lives in the also made up town called Elfin. (prologue)
Elaine's P.O.V.
I clap my two hands together and slap them to the ground hitting the transmutation sign that I had drawn into the dirt with my finger nails... (because of this, in between my finger nails was very very dirty.) I had been practicing my alchemy ever since my dad diseased a couple of weeks ago. We used to practice together and I promised him that I would keep it up!
Out of the ground came up a bracelet made entirely of rock. This is basically what all my practice has become, a bracelet. I pick it up from the ground and try to fit it around my wrist. Too big. It slips off of my wrist and I try to grab it in my hand. No luck. It slips onto the ground and brakes into two pieces. Maybe I should go back to work. After all, they are probably wondering where I am right now.
Once I get back to the Inn, I go to the front desk and start. My job is fun... at least I think so. I get to greet everyone that comes to the down town Inn in Elfin. Once I get behind the front desk, someone comes in and signs in. he had a large suit of armor covering his whole body. " whats your name?" I asked.
" Alphonse Elric." he said. " room 207, here's your key." And that was the last sentence I said before he walked away.
